Great packed half day with our guide Gorky who we enjoyed learning about turkey history and present the day after a disappointing win of Erdogan again after 20 years of leadership and a close runoff. Ephesus is a top of all time experience among many greats for us history, culture and experiencing a whole ancient city

Our guide, Gokey, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, articulate and friendly. He considered needs of the guests. He made the tour very informative and enjoyable.

Best of the excursions we booked on our 10 day cruise. Ephesus, Turkey was surprising. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and genuinely seemed to love his job. The car was great! He took us to see massive ruins of old houses and went with us throughout the tour, climbing inside several floors. We took the most pictures there. The guide took us to a pleasant lunch for a sampling of food there; the weather was perfect and we pleasantly surprised at how great a time we had. He was attentive to our needs and asked what we wanted to see

Our tour guide (Sera?) couldn’t have been nicer. She met the four of us just through the ship docking area and walked us to the van. We went first to Mary’s house while she explained the reasons it was believed to be authentic, then on to Ephesus where she walked us through the ancient city. All was absolutely stunning, especially the stacked homes. The knowledge, stories and legends Sera shared with us made the time fly by. She was always checking with us as to what we wanted to see, for how long and in what order which was awesome.
The only reason I didn’t score this tour a perfect 5/5 was due to the stop at the rug making Centre; she said there would be no pressure and that she highly recommended we go because it was an important part of Turkish culture. It was very interesting to see the hand knots, the designs and the silk cocoon but my oh my, it was hard to escape without being rude. The salesmen wouldn’t take no for an answer.

We had a very gentle, educated and very informative guide, Yavush ( Javier) who was great in historical facts of the places we visited. He was very sincere and really made us all comfortable especially because we had a 6 month old baby with us. Water and airconditioning was always made available. Our driver Mustapha dis not speak much English but his smiles made us feel so at home. Of all the places we visited, Ephesus became very special because of the service we got esp from Yavush. The visit to the Carpet factory was also special for my husband who shared some emotional moments with the head of the coop. Very heartwarming and amazing people! I will never go back to Italy but Ephesus, yes! Thanks so much, Yavush and Mustafa and for a great company that you work for

Our family were calling to Kusadasi from an RCL and wanted to visit the main sites in particular Ephesus but didn’t want the day to be too long for teenagers and standing around too long in the heat, we booked this private tour for our family and it was so good, we were met at the entrance to the port by Meta who is just fantastic, his knowledge and keen interest in the history of his own country Türkiye from Archaeology to religion was fascinating. After our tour on Ephesue we went to the Temple of Artemis and lunch in a local restaurant which was so good and then we headed to the house of the Virgin Mary which was so peaceful and spiritual, we thoroughly enjoye the tour an opted to head back to the port area- it was just the right length of time approx 5-6 hours, we had a dedicated driver , the mini coach was spacious and had airconditioning. Meta helped us get the Galatasaray jersey for my son, along with a super tour guide Meta had exensive knowledge on sports, economics and had travelled extensively so some great conversations and insights. Thank you.

Gurkan was an excellent, enthusiastic tour guide. Pick up was straightforward and the meeting point was easy to find. We were a small group of 5 which was perfect. The van was air conditioned and comfortable and our driver was great. We could also leave our belongings in the locked van while we toured the sites.
I really enjoyed the Terrace Houses and am very glad we opted for this addition.
    Highly recommended tour!

Awesome experience. Pinar was the best tour guide and this tour was one of the best cruise excursions we’ve taken. From being met at the port the being driven in a personal limo/van, it was a true first class experience throughout.

Ozzy was a great guide. I appreciated how easy it was to find him waiting at the terminal exit which can be chaotic. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. We also loved the lunch he took us to at the carpet manufacturer, it was delicious! The driver was also excellent and the van was big enough for our group of 11.

Our tour guide, Alex, was waiting for us outside the cruise terminal as scheduled. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable for our party of six. Alex is incredibly knowledgable, and he spent the appropriate amount of time at each place and delivered just the perfect amount of information.

We had a great day in Kusadasi on this tour. Our tour guide, Gonca, was amazing – she was super friendly and very knowledgeable- she’s definitely the best tour guide that we’ve ever had on any tour that we’ve taken ! She deserves an A++. All points that we visited were very interesting and the transportation was very comfortable with a great driver. We would highly recommend this tour when visiting the area!

Our guide Selda was truly amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable, was entertaining and pleasure to be with for the day. Our entire family loved the trip and enjoyed our day in Turkey. A great family experience that we’ll remember for years to come. Also this was the first time I used Viator to book a tour internationally and it was easy to find our guide and set up the trip.

The tour was great from start to finish, the tour bus was cool and smooth, we had a nicely timed stop at Virgin Mary’s house and drunk some holy water. We then stopped by a Turkish leather company for a quick show and tour, very enjoyable.
We then stopped for a nice buffet lunch and a beer which was a great stop to fuel up for about 1.5 hours at Ephesus, the tour guide is very well educated on a number of history topics, and willing to take questions if you have them. He spoke very good English with almost no accent, so perfect for all who use English as a second language.
Great value for money and I would highly recommend!

Ephesus was a great experience with lots of interesting sites to experience. The tour leader Gorki was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour vehicle was modern and well driven and plenty of time was given to spend the time we wanted at each of the sites. A small group is a great way to go.

  15. Stewart_G

Very courteous and knowledgeable . Would be 5 stars if not for the sales pitch at the end . Would recommend

  16. Rudy_B

5 stars in not enough for our guide, Nahide and Ephesus Shuttle. Nahide had 42+ years experience and it showed on this tour. She was detailed, knowledgeable, friendly, and had a genuine passion for history. She brought Ephesus to life. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.

  17. Emelin_R

The tour was simply amazing! Our tour guide Ty was great very personable, organized, puncutal. . We truly enjoyed as Ty provided us with the history and his knowledge about Ephesus and all that Turkey has to offer.
Would most definately recommend this tour and tour guide.

  18. Norman_P

Our guide was excellent and very informative I believe Cenk was his name and he definitely taught us a lot about Ephesus and Turkey

  19. LOUISE_L

For our memorable tour of Ephesus our guide, Melih, had the wherewithal to avoid the crowds by having us start out at 7:30 in the morning. That was a brilliant decision as we were able to stroll through the ancient city with hardly any other visitors there yet. Our guide was professional and articulate. His depth of knowledge of the history of ancient Greco-Roman era was outstanding. Having a guide who’s accommodating and flexible in a personalized tour makes all the difference in the world.

Our Guide Emray was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and so easy to understand and follow. Ephesus has a complex history and Emray explained it all very well. I wish I could give him 10 stars!
