This tour was really great for me to join with my mother. Everything was comfortable and done within good time and great communication. Our tour guide was phenomenal. For me, I would have preferred more learning about the history of Ephesus and Sirence but for my mom this was perfect. Lunch was also super and held at these Heirloom carpet center. We learned a little about many local crafts (rugs, tiles, wine) that were also remarkable.

There was non stop rain on that day of the trip. I cannot blame the tour operator or the guide for that. Out of 7 hour trip, 2 hours spent on forced shopping of Leather garments, Ceramic and local products. Of course, the guide did explain all the historic background of Ephesus, but more time would have been given to experience the ancient place, rather than shopping.

Our guide, Nizam, was the perfect combination of knowledgeable (he did a degree in archaeology and was personally interested, also having lived in this region his whole life), fun (brilliant sense of humour), organised (everything ran like clockwork with the clearest of instructions), and responsive (he tweaked the itinerary according to our interests). Loved the variety and balance in the day, from food/wine tasting, to historical insight, to religious insights at the various sights, and all with a smile. Well done!
