If you only do one trip, do this one. We went on the early morning Calypso boat to Low Isles. Small group of 12 guests and 3 guides. It was my first time snorkelling and the guides were brilliant checking we had the head gear on right and the stretchey wetsuit which is to protect us from the Stingers. We were taken with a guide first out to the barrier reef who showed us the different fish crabs etc in the reef. This was around 40mins and then we had approximately 45mins to snorkel or go for the island walk/tour with the guide. Highly recommend going on the early morning trip and this small group one.

The weather wasnt the best, it was choppy & my poor 6 yr old daughter got sick. But besides all of that, the team were great, they were fun & informative. It was also good as we were first of 2 boats to get out there so it wasnt too busy. There is surprisingly lots to see, reef sharks in knee deep water, Very cool. It is a beautiful little island with lots of history.

The crew were so lovely and informative through the whole tour. Going out to the island and learning about it’s history and about the reef was great. The structure of the tour worked well for us because we had a lot of time to explore the island and the reef to our own leisure.
