It is a great park and well worth a visit. Unfortunately, we visited on the busiest day they had had, for a very long time – and so there was a long wait to get on the Safari Bus and to purchase drinks etc. Given we were also trying to be COVID safe, there were large gatherings at viewing spots as well, with little consideration given to social distancing. We will plan to visit another time when school has returned and during the week – to take full advantage of a great park. So good seeing animals in their natural habitat.

The safari experience was quite unique – open air travel through the park, across the different animal settlements – animals are just inches from you atimes. The zoo part was a bit anti-climatic though. With so much unused land area observed, it’s possible further expansion may occur at some point.

Aside from the weather being so windy and cold and the rain a little it was fun a good day for the kids , The only thing was the cafe inside was elaborate huge meals no snack stuff and the outside ran out of mostly everything.
