Cindy was a fabulous guide! She made the your memorable for sure. I would definitely do this tour again!

Our guide was new and much more comfortable with navigating busy streets, but it was very fun and is way to see a lot of Marseille.

This was a great tour. Cindy was our guide . She was great! It was an awesome way to to see the city. I was nervous but riding in the traffic didn’t bother me. We went about 8 miles. We also went to a fun chocolate shop!
It wasn’t clear where to meet up when we got off the ship in the beginning. More instructions on this would be helpful

I have mixed reviews on this excursion, because two bikers fell off their e-bike and got injured, and I was injured and fractured my ribs. The owner/guide of the business, is not that safety conscious, he gave minimal instructions on operating the e-bike. I. Have rode ebikes before in mountains, but these bike are more powerful, and at times you have to stop quickly on uphills, which cause me to break quickly and got thrown off. Another major risk, is navigating the route, metro buses are passing you within a few feet, pedestrians are everywhere and stepping in front of you. And the guide would always stop mid hill to make sure the entire group was together, and numerous times it’s difficult getting started on a hill. Another concern is our pickup time was 9::15 am, but the night before the owner notified a later pickup time by email, so those of us without internet on the cruise ship never got the message and he still didn’t show up until 10:00am. So there are differently safety risks taking this tour. Some of the drivers in cars, would yell at our guide. I would NOT take children under 18 on this bike tour.
The pros are it’s a beautiful city and on the e-bikes one could cover alot of territory. You have to determine if the safety risks are worth it.

What a great way to see Marseille! It was awesome to see everything and be able to get a lot of exercise. Good tour guide and great spots of interest!

Stephan, our e-bike tour guide was so wonderful! So kind, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Marseille. We covered the entire city and loved every minute of it! Stephan is the perfect ambassador for the city of Marseille!

My husband and I had a great time, but would not recommend unless you are an experienced biker and know how to use an e bike. The roads were dangerous and very narrow. A couple people fell from our group.

Highly recommend! Very enjoyable small tour with a highly knowledgeable tour guide who was super friendly and tailored the tour to our specific group. Great way to see all the sights of the beautiful city.

My husband and I booked this tour as a unique way to see Marseille. Our guide was lovely and personable. It took a minute to get used to biking in the streets but after 10-15 minutes, you start to feel like a local. We were even able to tailor the excursion a bit based on what we wanted as it was a private tour. The bikes are easy to use and extremely helpful to have the electric part because you are climbing some very tall hills. Got some great information and pictures from the trip and even advice on local spots to go.

Nathan was our tour guide for this unforgetable electric bike tour. He was very knowledgeable on every site we toured and, was able to answer every question/request asked of him. With that said: While this was an unforgetably exciting excursion, I would caution anyone lacking the advanced biking skills required navigate through VERY busy city streets (shared with autos) to think twice before booking this tour. (It was a miracle that none of us were seriously injured!) ;>)

My family did this e-bike your while in Marseille on our Mediterranean cruise. It was our first time using e-bikes & they were easy to ride. We saw a lot of the city. Our guide, Eva, was informative, helpful & patient. It ended up being one of our favorite things on our cruise.

Fun day and a great way to see the city. The climb to the top of the hill to see the cathedral is a bit of a workout but the views are worth it.

We had an absolutely amazing guide on this tour, who took us to see some stunning views of Marseille. Our group learned a lot about the local history, while stopping fairly often along the route. We saw beaches and boats, crystal blue water, and a beautiful church.
I think I may have overestimated my cycling abilities before signing up for this tour, and that is 100% on me. The motor does help with pedaling, but the hills in Marseille are very steep. Going uphill to that church, even with the bike maxed out on its highest setting, was a challenge. The streets are crowded with cars and pedestrians which is not for the faint of heart. And at one point–in a memorable display of my lack of coordination–I fell.
All that said, it was an amazing experience. When I wiped out, my guide was there in a flash to help me. Another person on our tour needed help at one point, and our guide took great care of them as well. I felt like the excursion gave everything it promised. For someone a little more confident on the bike–and in slightly better shape–it would probably be a perfect way to see Marseille. For me, it was still very cool, just a challenge.

We enjoyed the tour and our guide was very informative about the history of the area. However, this is not a ride for the faint-hearted. Much of the tour is through busy streets, narrow alleys, and uphill on curvy roads. I wouldn’t recommend it for children for this reason. Also, be aware that no bathroom facility is available at the bike pickup/dropoff spot.

Our trip was soo cool! Our guide, Marine, has such a great personality! We learned so much about Marseilles history, and pop culture. She is funny, creative and full of energy! Must do tour!
Estella_L –
Our tour guide, Silva, did a great job explaining the use of the bikes and providing a history of the city. It was great exercise as you can adjust the settings to your desired level and a fun way to learn about the city. You need to feel confident to ride in city traffic alongside motor vehicles.

Incredible way to explore Marseille!! They picked us up directly from the boat exit and bright us back on perfect time. Trust that process! Adults only! As a mom, I would never bring my kids it would be very stressful with the traffic. But highly recommend this excursion for cruisers!
Ellen_B –
boatside pickup never arrived due to traffic. asked us to get a cab. Next cab driver in line told us the cab was expensive and to walk a km to a shuttle. We didn’t want to and asked him again, he wouldn’t take us to the address given by the pickup driver. pickup said he would arrive in 15 minutes. we waited 30 then I texted him. said he had been there and didn’t see us. we had been where he asked (in front of the shops) the entire time. we told him we didn’t trust this tour due to the current experience and please refund us. apparently he came back anyway but we had already re-boarded the ship
Vivian_K –
I did no expect to drive in the middle of Marseille traffic which was a bit stressful. Definitely not for kids and beginners bikers. The ride was too close to cars for my comfort. Also, one of my brakes did not work on my right side going dowhill so I fell down and scraped my knee and elbow. The hill was like the ones in San Francisco so I suggest the bikes get checked before going on them. The guide Lucy was great! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to amazing places.

Loved the beautiful views of the sea as we bicycled along the coast of Marseille! It was a wonderful way to see the city, its setting, and some key sites. However, it was physically challenging even with the electric booster (I am in my fifties). And, it was a bit scarry initially as I learned to use this type of bike. But it was well worth it. Many thanks to Nathan who was a great guide!
