Our overall experience was very good. We found ourselves in the company of some fab people from England and Germany and had a very enjoyable meal. Although the venue is very close to the restaurant it is somewhat tucked away in a small piazza, which if you don’t know Florence or are only there for the day is not so easy to find at night. The concert itself was very good and the guys actively encouraged audience to engage with them. A very nice evening in the company of lovely people and artists.

The restaurant is right in the heart of Florence and is geared up to cater for lots of people at once. So, it’s chaotic and busy but that just added to the fun. The waiters are flying around all over the place and as long as you don’t mind receiving different courses at different times it’s great. The dining room for this dinner/theatre deal is at the back of the restaurant and is spacious and full of charming detail. The waiters are courteous if a little stressed, who wouldn’t be with that many covers. The food is fine, especially the antipasti.
The church where the concert is held is further than you think but Google maps helps there. Timings on the voucher don’t coincide with the actual timings so I think we were late to dinner and early to the concert. The church is so incredible inside, so ornate. The three tenors, not THE three tenors, gave a very good performance and the two young dancers were delightful to watch. An interesting and fun experience.

The concert was amazing but too shame the dinner ruined the experience. We were not allowed to sit outside and I was now informed beforehand by getyourgide.com. The waiter who welcomed us was extremely rude and dinner was served very rushed to be able to make it to the concert. Overall a terrible experience especially for a 60th birthday celebration
