La hacienda Sotuta magnífica. Un vestigio de nuestra historia y la comida deliciosa. Lo recomiendo.
The best activity from Merida. We visited Uxmal, an archaeological site in full reconstruction. The guide was majestic and was able to explain to us in detail in an immersive way the Mayan culture in the area called “Ruta Puuc”.
The magnificent Sotuta Hacienda. A vestige of our history and delicious food. I recommend it.

Superb day with our great guide Jorge who speaks Spanish, English and French. The visit to the magnificent site of Uxmal really seduced us in comparison to Chichen Itza (made with another agency) and Jorge’s explanations were very rich and well distributed during the visit! The Sotatu de Péon hacienda is very beautiful and far from the tourist crowds that we had encountered previously. We particularly appreciated the demonstration of the process of transforming Sisal into fibre, using the original machines. To end this day in style, we went by small train pulled by horses to the private cenote of the estate and there were only 2 of us in the water! The cenote is entirely underground and by far the one I enjoyed the most during our stay in the Yucatan. We are unanimous in saying that this day is the most beautiful of our 15 days of visit and we highly recommend this excursion with Jorge!
