The whole tour was very interesting and Robert was very knowledgable, especially about Winston Churchill.

This activity was one of our favorite London experiences. The tour guide, Richard kept us engaged with interesting facts mixed with funny antidotes about England’s history, monarchy and Winston Churchill. A perfect afternoon to do with the Churchill War Room tour. Please be advised, the departure point is at the Battle of Britain monument, not the RAF monument with the golden eagle on top. We were at the wrong departure point, but our guide found us with a much appreciated phone call.

Enjoyed the stories of Churchill and the great explanations of the various monuments to different wars and different branches of service including women who served!

Fantastic walking tour. Our guide, Richard, was knowledgable and friendly. I appreciated his sense of humor and depth of history. He knew that we were going to end our tour by going into the Churchill bunker and added some Churchill-related info for us. Would definitely go again.

Richard provided a wealth of information and provided us lots of interesting details on the many Westminister historical sites to enhance our travels. It was a perfect tour to do before seeing the Churchill War Rooms. I would highly recommend it!

Nathan was fantastic!! He had so many stories about the WWII history in London, along with great insight into Churchill. I loved Nathan’s saying that history doesn’t repeat but it does rhyme, in comparing the London Blitz to the ongoing struggle in Ukraine. Beautiful day to take a walk around London and get great perspective on the city and its place in history.

Nathan was a terrific tour guide. He shared a tremendous amount of history that went beyond WWII as there were several background stories. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who is a history buff.

The Churchill war rooms. The guide, Frances was very knowledgeable. We were pretty tired from our travel that day. I would recommend that people don’t book on the same day of their travels. I would have enjoyed it more if I weren’t so tired.

  19. Jennifer_M

Nathan was a great guide! It was the perfect amount of time for our family. We had 8 kids (teenagers to adults) I wouldn’t recommend for little kids but it was worthwhile.

Our guide, Nathan, was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor which always adds to the liveliness and interest of a tour. He answered all questions and was just an overall great guide!!! We finished off the walking tour with a tour of the Churchill war rooms which made all of the movies I had seen come to life!
