This activity was one of our favorite London experiences. The tour guide, Richard kept us engaged with interesting facts mixed with funny antidotes about England’s history, monarchy and Winston Churchill. A perfect afternoon to do with the Churchill War Room tour. Please be advised, the departure point is at the Battle of Britain monument, not the RAF monument with the golden eagle on top. We were at the wrong departure point, but our guide found us with a much appreciated phone call.

I loved Nathan’s saying that history doesn’t repeat but it does rhyme, in comparing the London Blitz to the ongoing struggle in Ukraine. Beautiful day to take a walk around London and get great perspective on the city and its place in history.

The Churchill war rooms. The guide, Frances was very knowledgeable. We were pretty tired from our travel that day. I would recommend that people don’t book on the same day of their travels. I would have enjoyed it more if I weren’t so tired.
