a wonderful day. Each visit to the vineyards, and the lunch, were spot on.
Absolutely no complaints. Eight and a half hours of sheer delight for previous
wine drinkers and newcomers. Very good fun and value. You should not be disappointed. Thank you.

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel front door, our tour guide Angelo was engaging all 7 couples by name. By our arrival at the first winery, we already were laughing and talking with each other. The wine and cheese pairing was outstanding! Generous samples, lovely vineyard estate, left there tipsy. Lunch was very good, more wine and conversation flowed. We stopped at 2 more vineyards for chocolate pairings and some bubbly samples too. Smaller vineyards but very nice settings. There was no pressure to buy anything at any of our stops. Got dropped off a good 10 hours after we started-a long satisfying day. Highly recommend this tour! We now talk of going back to stay a couple of days in the area as there is so much more to explore.

Booked this tour the day before, and OMG, I am so glad I did! Nelson was the kindest man. He was clearly passionate about the history and culture of wine in South Africa. He was very informative and friendly. He kept the tour on time and light-hearted. The places we visited were all wonderful, and the lunch was delicious. Some of the best pork belly I have ever tasted! All the guests on the tour were so fun too. Fairview wines was so amazing that I wish I could buy a crate or their wines. If you’re on the fence about taking this tour, don’t be! Book it, and you will be glad you did!

This was a fabulous tour with are wonderful guide, Nelson. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, making everyone in our small group feel at ease and included from the beginning. We visited 4 wineries, each one unique, with great wines. The cheese (Fairview) and chocolate pairings (at La Bri, a boutique winery) were delicious, as was the lunch, enjoyed in a sunny outside setting at the Old Road Wine Company in Franschhoek. A glass or two of ‘bubbles’ at the beautiful Boschendale Wine Estate was a perfect ending to a perfect day!
