It was in outer Ubud. We had a lot of trouble with our driver knowing where to go. So we were late. We had to give him directions via Google! Same thing for the hotel forger coming to pick us up. Waited for 45 minutes on a remote road for him.
Wondering if better directions on the website would help for anyone wanting to do this. Maybe we were just unlucky.
The class itself was good. Definitely plan your design in advance if you can. It’s hard to design on the spot. The team really will do all they can to create the piece you want. Our pieces turned out great.

The studio is in a remote location so you will most likely need a taxi as the studio does not do collection. The experience itself was so fun, though I realise I have little talent in silverworking myself. The teachers help you a lot and take your creation to a whole other level!

If you have an idea about what you want to make, it is great because the instructors can help you with anything. Be aware that you cannot do everything yourself so sometimes you are just watching. I did expect a bit more explanation. I would’ve liked to hear a bit about the jewelry making in Bali and the different techniques there are. This would also help to choose what you want to make. When I arrived we went straight at it without much talking which felt a bit strange. I did walk away happy about my pieces and the instructors are kind. You can reach the place by Grab but they want you to use a taxi for fhe way back.
