We had an amazing experience at the silver jewelry making class. It’s a little remote from the center of Ubud (near the elephant park) but well worth the drive. You’re able to design your own ring or earrings, and select one of the many stones they have (my stone was 90,000, or about USD $7.50) and it turned out beautiful. They will coach you on the work, and you can do as much or as little as you like. The instructors were very kind and friendly. We highly recommend this class.
Kelly_B –
Awesome class! Everyone gets their own instructor/helper. You can do as much or little of the process as you want. If interested in making rings they tell you to pick out 3-4 designs because most people can make at least 3 rings sometimes 4 with the amount of silver provided.
Bernadette_B –
Very knowledgable trades people who helped out whilst making the jewlery. The ring we made look great
Christina_D –
We had an awesome time at our silver making class and made some beautiful pieces of custom jewelry that will perfectly commemorate out trip to Bali. The class is set in a beautiful workshop outside of UBud and the friendly team helped us along every step of the process. I would recommend this experience for anyone looking looking to try something a little different, you won’t be disappointed!!
Billie_S –
it was a 40 min drive from our villa to the workshop but very comfortable and like a mini tour! saw lots of interesting things! Myself and 2 friends all loved making things out of silver and the staff were very helpful! Lovely environment – beautiful gardens and amazing building where we did the workshop. I made 2 little pendants and had a fabulous time. Long drive back but driver made it fun! Highly recommend to anyone – even if you have never done jewellery making before (i hadn’t!)
Natola_H –
The instructors made sure the customers were really involved through every step. They also made the class fun!

I had the most wonderful time in the silver jewelry making class with Genuine Bali Experiences! If you are considering taking this class then do it! It is more than worth it. Whether you are solo or in a group it’s so much fun!
The team of expert silversmiths were truly incredible artists and were so amazing at helping us create whatever designs we had in mind for our jewelry. They allow you to do a lot of the work yourself while also doing some of the more challenging technical parts for you. They will also explain things as they go and will answer any questions you have (I had a lot).
I left with 2 beautiful rings and lovely set of dangling earrings that are my new favorites. I will treasure them forever along with the memories of this class.
Also – about half of our group finished within the 3 hours and got a ride back to their accommodations, but a few of us wanted to stay longer to perfect our pieces and the team at Genuine Bali Experiences was so kind that they allowed us to stay almost 2 HOURS longer as they helped us finish up! There was no extra charge or anything, they were very generous with their time. As a bonus, we ended up seeing a beautiful sunset over the rice terraces on the drive back to Ubud.
They also served us a delicious snack and kept us hydrated and offered coffee and tea whenever we needed. They are so focused on making sure everyone enjoys the experience and I feel very lucky to have learned from some very talented artists.
Thank you so much to the team at GBE!

It was so much fun learning the process of silver jewelry making. My instructor was very patient with me as I went from an idea, to a sketch, to many iterations until we finally finished the ring.
Emily_K –
Great experience start to finish! We got picked up from our hotel and did the evening class. We were able to choose up to 3 designs and had people explain the process to us to make the rings. I was blown away by the quality of the finished pieces. Super memorable experience and really happy with my new rings, thank you!

Did a night session and loved it. They encouraged me to do as much of the jewellery making as possible. However, please be aware there is no safety equipment because they don’t use it in Bali and they charge extra if you go over the set quota of silver or want coloured stones in your jewellery. (However, it’s not much in AUS dollars). I made 3 rings myself, there were 5 people in total in our classes. Depending on the size of the class, options might be restricted.

Great evening spent with some amazing and skilled people. Truely great thing to do and bring a treasured, authentic & original item home with me to remember bali by. So glad I did it.

This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Bali! Definitely recommend this jewelry making class – especially as a honeymoon activity! I read a ton of reviews and researched many other jewelry making classes ahead of time, and we are so happy we picked this one as for our jewelry experience!
I wanted to make sure the experience was very hands on, which it totally was! The workers are there to help guide you along the way, and will also take over for any of the tricky parts. You can sort of decide how hands-on you want to be.
The number of rings you get to make depends on the size/bulkiness and how much silver you will use up – I was able to make two dainty rings with the amount of silver, and my husband wanted a signet ring which was a lot bulkier, so he made one. We are so happy with how they turned out! The experience was really interesting to learn how the rings are made and overall was a super fun activity. There are a ton of sample rings laid out when you arrive, to help inspire you on which ring(s) you’d like to make. There are also optional stones you can add in (which I did!) for a reasonable price. You can pick your ring from the samples or if you have an inspo picture from Pinterest or online, you can show them too.
All of the workers were so friendly! They offered complimentary pick and up drop off from Ubud, played fun music, and also provided water bottles, coffee, and a small snack.
10/10! 🙂

This class was so much fun, seeing how you turn loose silver into something you can wear for life is an experience I’ll never forget. Well worth the couple of bucks

The guide was very patience and helpful! He has guided every steps of the jewellery making process and ensuring the outcome is what I have desired for! Love the experience and would definitely come back again 👍🏻
Ritwik_K –
It was an extremely enjoyable experience, and the highlight of my trip. The village was breathtaking.
Scott_B –
It was a wonderful experience! They provided taxi service from Ubud and even held our baby while we made our jewelry! Lovely place and the snacks beforehand were delicious! All in all a 10 out of 10!

This experience is really good, we were so happy with our finished products. I was able to make a ring and a pendant and my boyfriend made a signet ring.
Nothing was too much trouble for the team, they did a great job. The group size was perfect also.
