You can get closer to the elephants and giraffes than at most places. The people who care for them give useful information and are happy to answer questions. Both the giraffes and elephants seem happier than at the usual zoo and it was great that I was able to touch, pet them and in the case of the giraffe’s feed them. Kenya is doing a wonderful job of wildlife conservation and this is one of the many examples of it.

This was the perfect introduction to Nairobi. We started early in Nairobi National Park and saw TONS of great animals–even lions, which our guide said was pretty rare. The Elephant Orphanage was amazing…watching the babies come running in to get their milk as adorable. There was a narrator there who told us about each of the 21 orphans living there–their name and how they came to be there. We had some lunch, and then headed to the Giraffe Center and got to feed the giraffes (they also have some warthogs, lol)! A great way to spend the day and not have to worry about transportation or entry fees. Our guide Charo was great!

We had such a great experience with Moffat! He was so friendly and knew people everywhere we went. It was just my husband and I so it felt like our own private tour. We were able to see so many animals in the national park (lions, giraffes, rhinos, etc). We were also able to see a lion eating a zebra that it had just killed. We also had great experiences at the elephant orphanage and giraffe center. I recommend this tour because you are able to see so much in a relatively short period of time.

This was a great way to spend the day before an evening flight. I was offered the chance to move my start time from 8:30am to 6:30am for better animal viewing. My guide, Black Santa, was nearly 20 minutes early for pickup and was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and able to offer a lot of information. At the Giraffe center he gave a little talk about some of the items on display. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Black Santa as your guide!

We had an incredible time on this tour with our guide Mufat.
We were picked up promptly at 8am from our hotel and were the first to arrive at the giraffe centre to feed the giraffes. This was so much better than I’d anticipated and was the highlight of the day for me.
The tour operator offered for us to start at 6am too, as this gives a better chance of seeing wildlife in the national park; however, we didn’t want to start this early having arrived at 10pm the night before.
After the giraffe centre, we stopped for tea and headed on to the elephant orphanage. This was busier as they only open for 1 hour each day and there was a bit of a stampede from the car park to the viewing area, which is completely unnecessary as there’s plenty of room for everyone to see there. My recommendation is to take it easy and stroll over.
After the elephants, we stopped for lunch and went for an afternoon drive in the national park. Despite it not being prime time to view wildlife, we managed to see loads: a lion, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, impala, rhinos, hippos, etc.
Mufat did a great job of finding the animals and was speaking to other cars for tips on where to find them. He was a star throughout the day and couldn’t have been happier.
The tour might seem a little pricey, but it’s great value for what you get. I’d recommend it to anyone with a short amount of time in Nairobi to maximise your experience.

Moffat was great and took care of us! We had a full day at the giraffe center, elephant orphanage and the national park. He was very informative and kind and it was an unforgettable experience! Thank you so much, Moffat!

Overall it was a great experience. In one day you are able to hit these 3 top sights. If you book this tour & get George as your driver, hakuna matata – no worries, he will take care of every single thing, you will have no issues and if there is anything you need, he will do everything he can to accommodate you.
The one thing that I think is that the pricing could be better. Mostly you are paying $300 USD (Oct. 2024) for the safari in Nairobi National Park (the other 2 are cheap and easily accessible by Uber). For the same price, you can do a 3 day experience in Maasai Mara and see more animals & for more hours.

Sigh, this was a wonderful experience. The driver/guide was very experienced and knew where to bring me, he pointed out the best parts of the safari. I saw lions, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, rhinos, and all sorts of animals. I’ll just say though, the bead factory which he “had to” bring me to was a bit of a cop out but I was in a good mood so that wasn’t unpleasant.

Our guide Sammy was great! He was very knowledgeable and able to take us to each place for great photographic memories dispite the crowds.

Wow!!! What an incredible experience- one that I want to do again.
Tony our guide was the best!!!! He was on time, had so much knowledge of the country and area which he was happy to share, and went the extra mile. His experience as a safari guide shone through – he knew so much about the animals and made sure we managed to see as much as possible. He truly made our day so special.
The whole experience was fantastic from end to end – the communication with Elizabeth once I booked was fab, she was really accommodating and constantly available when I texted. Fantastic!!

Albert K. was my tour guide and I’m so thankful that I booked this tour with him for my BIRTHDAY! He did not disappoint. From Albert promptly picking my up at my hotel, my birthday adventure was amazing!
When we arrived at Nairobi National Park, we spotted 1 of the big 5 within minutes of our arrival! Albert shared some much information with me. He was patient as I took pictures of the animals! I was able to take some beautiful pictures of lions before others on the safari spotted them! I saw 2 more of the big 5 before leaving. Additionally, I saw several other animals, which was also amazing.!
It was such an amazing time at Nairobi National Park! Upon leaving the park, Albert took me to a Kenyan restaurant to share a wonderful meal! Again, he made me feel so special and made my birthday celebration special.
We then went to see how the beads are made from clay into beautiful jewelry (the name escapes me, unfortunately). The women were so nice and welcoming to me. Albert told the women that it was my birthday. They sang a beautiful song and danced. Then they sang happy birthday to me! I was able to dance with one of the ladies while they sang! I will always remember that experience. I will always be grateful to Albert for making that happen.
I went to see the elephants be fed and learned so much about the orphaned elephants. I went to Giraffe manor and saw Albert feed the elephants.
If you’re going to Kenya, book this tour with Albert! You will not be disappointed!

Wow wow wow! I booked the tour on a whim after being in Nairobi for work and I could not be more happy that I did. Even with the last minute booking they quickly reached out to see if I wanted to depart earlier in hopes of catching the animals early in the morning before the heat and so glad they did! I saw more than i would have ever expected. Peter was fantastic and strategic in both finding the animals and avoiding crowds! 10/10 would recommend if you are in Nairobi for a short time and want the experience.

We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience. Albert was a great guide – he patiently navigated the terrain and educated us on the nature and diversity of animals in Kenya’s landscape.

  17. Katarzyna_K

We had an absolutely wonderful day with Albert. The early start optional was great and we saw awesome wildlife, even watched some young lion cubs hunting a wildebeest! A really fantastic day all around.

Moses Njomo was a very good guide and driver. Everything went smoothly. Thanks very much and see you next time !

  19. JONGHYUK_W

The tour guide was so kind, He tried to show animal in the national park and drived over and over
I really recommend this tour; you can experience Great Nature with this tour

  20. Kendra_G

Highly recommend. Not only was Albert a wonderful guide, he was timely and took care to ensure we had a great experience. It’s almost unbelievable how much wildlife and natural beauty you can see and experience in and 8-9 tour while never leaving Nairobi. Don’t forget your binoculars! We saw 2 kinds of rhinos, giraffes, lions, gazelles, impala, baboons, ostriches and other amazing birds. Dress in layers, as is cool at 6am and warms up throughout the morning. We packed carryout breakfast from hotel given the early hour as you’re in the park for several hours before exiting to the city. Totally worth making time for this during your visit.

  21. BRUCE_W
