Carlos was a very knowledgeable and amiable guide, and we were with a great group of people. The wine and food were delicious and the tour is well worth going on. We were made very welcome even with our 18 month old daughter.

Antonio was a great guide with tons of knowledge about the history and culture of Taormina and how the foods and wines we were tasting were related to the history. We had a great time and definitely recommended doing in the beginning of your trip to get tips on the areas specialties!

We had a wonderful evening with Rosario. It was everything we wished for. I would recommend this experience to anyone that wants to learn a little about Sicilian wine, food, and history.

Lovely food & wine with fun, knowledgeable guide Alfredo. Especially nice grillo, fish & desserts. Grazie

I kind of thought that the tour would mean engaging with the staff at each of the three venues but it didn’t. It was just a pre prepared plate of food with some drinks. Whilst the tour guide was friendly and engaging there was nothing we learned about Sicilian food. We thought it would be an explanation about every dish/ wine but it was not the case. The actual food was a bit disappointing and whilst the wine was abundant it wasn’t fully explained.

Disappointed by the number of people attending, I don’t call 14 people a small group. Started out ok at fish restaurant but at the meat stop where was the meat? and overall there was no imaginative choices of wine! All a bit tourist NOT gourmet. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to experiencing genuine Sicilian food and wine not tourist offerings.

The three stops were different from each other and interesting information about each was provided by the guide.

We, as a couple had a fantastic time, information, food/drink were excellent. We met friends (hopefully) for life from the other side of the world. Made our trip from the UK, something we’ll always remember….

Our guide Greta was very passionate and eager to share information. We went to three places but unfortunately there was no dinner portion of the evening. We also had a large group of 12 making it difficult to fit in restaurants or hear the guide. Overall, great sampling of Sicilian dishes just left a little hungry

Very disappointing tour. Small group turned out to be 18. Guide did not engage, no info on food, traditions or history of Taormina. We asked a couple of questions which the guide said he would answer later but never did. Carlos was a nice guy but was a poor guide with no shared info.

Our tour guide was great! He took great care of the group. He was very accommodating and made sure that we were ok with everything.

Our guide Rosario was very good. Explained the details of each meal and provided some history too.
The food was good but if you don’t like seafood, stay away.
We visited three restaurants (the last was for dessert). Wine provided at each. The food was plentiful and about the right amounts for us. We had a nice group of 14 people and that helped make it even better.

This was a fantastic experience. We were in a group of 11 along with our guide Alfredo and it was a really nice number. We’d been to the restaurants before Pirandello 2.0 and Ristorante Porta Messina – but they were both stunning and the staff were lovely. Mainly, Alfredo was an exceptional guide, dealing brilliant information about Sicilia and Taormina in general. He was a lovely chaperone to the tour, talking us through all the bits and pieces of Sicilian culture! We also had the best company, some from America and some from Australia! Big shout to the restaurants for their Sicilian food highlights. The parmigiana from Porta Messina and the cheeses from Pirandello were particular highlights for me.

A great night. Rosario was a lovely guide, and the rest of the group good fun too. Went to some good bars and resturants, had a good selection of food and wine, and had a great night. Well recommended.
