Nice cruise. Nice crew.
Terrible parking situation. Not previously informed about the unusual, awkward and time consuming parking procedure. Ticket person said we would to walk about 100m after parking up a hill. It was much more than that and it was news to us that we had to walk the distance after waiting 30 minutes in line to pay for parking.
The busride from the boat back to the spot where we got on the first bus was dangerous. People standing tightly packed in and driver picks up 5 more.
No good for folks with minor disabilities with walking.

The tour was good, unfortunately we had bad weather and not too many sightings but you can’t influence that. Unfortunately, the lady who explained everything spoke a little quickly and sometimes mixed French with English so that you didn’t understand everything. We found the lady who assigned the parking spaces very unfriendly, despite repeated notices that we didn’t speak French and if she could please say it in English, she kept talking in French. With a ticket price of 100€ the car park should be free, this costs another 5€.

Try to go on a clear day and carry nice winter wear (wool cap, gloves and at least 1 jacket) in order to see more closely and with a front view. The cafe is a good place to sit if you are feeling cold, and there is a decent collection of coffee and drinks. However the food is only cold.
We were totally pleasantly stunned with the experience. So many different types of whales and a non stop sighting trip. The commentator made the whole experience ethereal.
The big boat is slower than a zodiac but is more convenient with the washrooms and indoor sitting areas. Thankfully these operators around Baie-Saint-Catherine and Tadoussac gladly share sighting information among themselves and hence all are at the right place at the right time.
