We had an amazing experience and saw so many whales. Staff were wonderful, caring and so friendly. They went above and beyond making sure everyone had a great experience and interacted with everyone. We saw many whales. They liased with other boats to find whales and took us there. The captain and crew made sure we didn’t miss out on anything. A good afternoon tea and nibbles later was provided. A great experience. A highly recommend.

The respectful way the Tasman Venture Whale Watch crew conducts the whale watch experience; cutting the engines a considerable distance from the majestic whale pods and waiting for the whales to approach the boat in their own time. Mothers and calfs came right up to the boat and as heard from a little 3 year old boy who expressed every body’s thoughts in the crisp silence “OH MY GOODNESS!!”

We thoroughly enjoyed the whale watching. We did have 2 children aged 5 and 8 and found that after 2 hours they were over it, so the last half was spent trying to entertain them, other than that, the adults loved it and the whales were amazing to see.

We had a wonderful morning on the Tasman Venture. It is a very stable well appointed boat and the staff all worked hard to give us the best whale watching adventure. The Whale Warriors program was a bonus for our 6 year old grandson and we all learnt heaps about the whales. The experienced skipper found pods of whales and the breaching was spectacular and very close. Highly recommend the Tasman Venture.

We enjoyed whale watching, however very embarrassed in front of our 6 yrs old daughter. You had advertised that the kids toys and activities are included on the trip, so we already told our daughter about it and she was very excited as she was asking us all the time where is my toy?!
I asked the crew about the kids toy and they said there is no kids toy and activities, and I can pay $18 to buy her a kit of activities. My girl was so disappointed and I was very regretful why I believed that item on your advertising and passed it to her.

Searching out the whales was exciting. Watching the mother whales teach their calves how to breathe was interesting. The commentator was excellent and staff on the Tasman Venture were very helpful. Being collected from our motel was a convenient bonus.

Being mid October there are fewer whales but we loved the trip and saw over 5 pods during our half day sail
