The day was set at an easy, relaxing pace with the right amount of stops. Tour guide John was knowledgeable and friendly. I loved the lighthouse cheese stop and later the oysters. A bit longer for beach or bush walking would have been good but overall it was a lovely day.

It was such a no stress way of finding out way around Bruny and to learn so much about our history concerning our First Nations people. Everybody should do it for the second reason alone! Our guide was knowledgeable & thoughtful and he clearly respected the land, the wildlife and it’s first people. Even though it was bucketing down at times on the day we were there we still had a wonderful time.

Robert is a bloody legend. We had an amazing tour of the island and got to try some delicious food, but what made it better was Robert accommodating for all of us, at all times. There were different options for every hike to suit your level, one of us really wanted to see a white wallaby so he stayed a little later knowing that’s when they came out and she got her wish, and I was hooked by the oysters we tried earlier that day so he raced back to the shop just before they closed so I could get a dozen more. The tour by itself was wonderful but it was made even better because of Robert.
(This tour is for those who like eating, long drives and walking!)
