This was a delightful trip, flying over some of the most beautiful landscape I’ve ever seen. Our pilots were informative and cheerful, and we enjoyed the flights, the boat time, as well as the small bit of hiking. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier day! Thanks to everyone.

Very enjoyable day with Par Avion’s Winter tour to the Southwest Conservation Area. 3hrs in the area doesn’t sound like much but it’s more than enough if you’re after an unique and non-strenuous day trip out of Hobart with amazing sights and the opportunity to breathe some of the world’s freshest air.
Professional, knowledgeable and capable guide and friendly service from the owner through to his staff. Hotel pick up/drop off also provided.
Highly recommended!

What an adventure tour! Our guides for the day Hugh, Kendall and James were absolute professionals. From piloting the planes, providing insightful commentary, driving the boats and providing us with an amazing morning tea and gourmet luncheon, this tour really stands out as one of the best natural experiences anyone could possibly wish for. Outstanding, professional and memorable.

This is the most amazing tour we have taken. Southwest National Park is only available by air or hiking for a week, so it is pristine wilderness. The flight was a great way to see the area and gain access to the Melaluca river. The river was also very scenic. All the tour guides were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent too. We were able to schedule a flight from Syndey in the morning and return the same night. This tour is pricey, but well worth the cost. It is a tour not to be missed.

The tour is great!
I was assigned to sit next to the pilot during the flight, the view is particularly great at this seat.
I enjoyed the scene at Southwest National Park and the arrangement is well.
However, I have deducted a star for the pick up arrangement. The car has been lated for 45 minutes, which is unacceptable.

Due the the weather conditions Par Avion kindly changed the trip to Gordon River Explorer West coast tour. Even in the wet and grey conditions we had a marvellous time. Fabulous pilot Dan managed the conditions and the tour boat with premium seats was excellent. Par Avion do a wonderful job show chasing the beauty of Tasmania.

This is the best thing we’ve ever done in Tasmania. The flight along the spectacular coast, the short walks, the boat cruise of Bathurst Harbour and Port Davey. Then the flight back over the Arthur’s. All first class.

What a wonderful experience, friendly, informal, very knowledgeable. From hospital and two years of lockdown, this tour made me feel alive for the first time in a long time. The crew were very understanding and caring of my limitations, I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The beauty of this wilderness paridise is impossible to do justice to in words or images. You just have to go, you no it’s a spectacular day when the tour guide takes so many photos and videos. Special thanks to Cal for making this a special day for my wife and I.

The scenic flight around the coastline of Tasmania to the remote Bathurst Harbour with a very small group of people was amazing. It was an opportunity to see just how remote parts of Tasmania remain today. The pilots were fantastic and ensured everyone enjoyed the experience.

An extraordinary day out with Callum and the Par Avion team. Taking in the scenery by air and by boat was a unique and special experience. We made it all the way out to the Break Sea Islands, which was worth the ride! Callum navigated the boat expertly through 35 knot winds on our way back. The food and drinks were top notch. Everything was well organized and it was great to see the Southwest National Park through the eyes of a local – Callum’s passion and enthusiasm for Tasmania was infectious. Don’t hesitate – sign up for this tour!
