A unique way to see the city, as well as a fun experience to do.
Our Guide was very enthusiastic and fun. He gave us some information when we’d get to a new section of the route as to what the area we were in was known for.
Took Plenty of photos as well which we got after the tour. So no need to worry about doing that yourself

When signing up for the adventure it was not made clear that you need an ‘international drivers license.’ We don’t even know what that is. We assumed our US license would work. It did not. Probably our fault for not getting more clarity. But then there was no refund so we wasted $160. Not a good experience.

Despite having a valid drivers license and passport, they would not let us drive and would not refund my money. The people at the garage did not know where their manager was so I could speak to him to work the situation out.

Bad experience…..costumes were dirty, go kart ride was less than 45 minutes due to staff being unorganized. My best suggestion is to book the Mari cart ride in Tokyo bay. They are much more organized and you will get a full hour experience with clean outfits. Please do not waste your money with the street Osaka go-kart tour.

It was fun. The energy on a busy day (it was Halloween) was kind tense because they had so much going on, but overall a good time. Not incredible or knock your socks off but worth it, at least once.
They say it’s an hour experience, but that’s the total time, from when you arrive to when you leave. Within that hour, you have to check in, sign a waiver, put your stuff in a complimentary locker, and put on your costume that you get from a rack of options (they definitely don’t wash them between experiences – there is no time – so you wear with germs at your own risk). They have a restroom on site that you can use before/after the experiene.
They divide bigger groups into 6 people it’s not an unnecessarily large group, which is great. You have to ride with your passport and int’l driver’s license on you, which they have pouches to carry if you don’t have a pocket big enough to ride with it on you. We liked that there’s a driver leading from the company and one behind, trailing the group. We’re shocked you don’t have to wear helmets for this!
Also, just a warning that you smell the fuel the whole time you’re riding – it’s most noticeable when you’re waiting for a red light to turn green. Not a big deal but if you’re VERY sensitive to such a smell you should beware of that detail.
Our actual driving experience was about 20 minutes. One of the carts had a problem that took about 8 minutes to fix, so that was annoying. And when we got back to the building we ended up at the next corner before returning at the same time as the group that left 10 minutes before us and our guide told them to go around the block once more. Which I was annoyed by because 1) we left later, 2) we had an issue with a kart we had to wait for.
It’s a little overpriced for what it is, which was my main hesitation to start with. Overall it was fun, just providing a few things to know about before you book.

What an adrenaline rush! We had I Fan as our guide and she was excellent! Great communication from the start and on site. They have a safety video and let us have a short practice. We had a one hour drive through the city and even went as fast as 55km! IFAN took many pictures of us during stop lights and also provided some city facts as well. My husband and I wore GoPros through the whole ride, I can’t wait to see our footage. Wish we did two hours definitely recommend!

Obviously karting is an activity anyone would enjoy, however what makes it extra special is the guys in charge. These guys were extra fun, charming, made the whole experience AMAZING! From the start to the end it was simply just fun. They were funny, made us laugh, took pictures of us every time we stopped, told us a little bit about everything in Osaka, I highly recommend you experience this.
