The guide – Silvia started off great until she started to manipulate the group into going to her hand picked stores to get commissions. Even as we complained she would not stop…. Her behavior ruined t by e experience.

The tour was picked up on time from the pick up point . The tour guide was not very informative & was in a hurry .. I felt I could done it myself instead of taking a tour. As all the places in the tour r in a single location . Take a taxi & to that location rest follow the directions.

We booked a small group tour but luckyly it was only us so we had a private tour. Our guide Sevilay was the best, she took us arround Istanbul and explained everything to us, she is very knowledgeable about the history of her country and very kind, she gave us time to take photos and took us to a nice restaurant to have local food. This tour is a most when you visit Istanbul and if you are lucky to have Sevilay as your tour guide I assure you will enjoy it.

Our tour guide Gürkhan was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the necessary time to explain the history of the places we visited and was very flexible in accommodating our preferences regarding the itinerary. We took the tour on a Sunday and asked to visit the Spice Bazaar in lieu of the Grand Bazaar which is closed on Sundays. The guide accommodated this request. He also gave us tips on local food. We really appreciated the service and would definitely recommend a guided tour to all those who want to make the most of their time in Istanbul.

I can’t imagine what a challenge it must be to lead a group of 11 individuals (including a 5-year-old) through all the top tourist attractions in Istanbul in 7 hours or less, but our tour guide managed to keep us all on time and do it with grace. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of the sights we saw, and good about pointing out photo opportunities. It was a great way to start off our visit to Istanbul!

I was unable to go, I was taken ill suddenly the night before we were due to go.
I tried to contact the tour company and Viator and kept getting mixed messages and not an ounce of sympathy. Communication was an absolute shambles, I was told by one person I would get a refund and then Viator Customer Support said I wasn’t.
Very frustrating and disappointing, will think twice before booking with viator again!
