This service from Hillary’s Boat Yard is excellent. It was very convenient, as we were staying in Sorrento Beach. We left on the 7.30am service so as to maximise our time on Rottnest Island. We were unable to use the bikes as my wife had a knee injury, but made use of the excellent round island HO/HO ‘Explorer’ bus service instead, going right around the island on the first bus and then returning to some of the delightful bays/beaches using the bus again. It’s a very frequent and punctual service. From what we saw, the bike hire service from Hillary’s is very efficient and very popular and although we had a great day, we were a little disappointed we were unable to make use of it.

Enjoyable Day Trip to Rottnest. The weather on departure wasn’t good, so wheeling our bikes to the ferry wasn’t ideal, but obviously in good weather it wouldn’t be an issue. Overall a fantastic service. Thank you!

We had a great day on Rottnest Island. The volunteers at the lighthouse were great, very friendly and had so much information about the island. The maps provided at the information centre were great and very easy to follow. It was the perfect amount of time to see the island and stop off at the sights along the way we even made it back in time to have dinner in Frankies and a treat in the bakery..was a brilliant day all round.
