We loved the tour. Martyn was a wonderful guide and we thoroughly recommend him. He was easy to understand and shared his insights into the history of Ireland. He was willing to answer all our questions. He was very flexible and stopped any time we wanted to. He took us to the perfect fish and chips restaurant for lunch and even made time for a Bushmills at a pub in Belfast at the end and a visit to the Peace Wall. He had us back to the ship in plenty of time and considering the short day we had in port, we felt we saw everything we wanted to see. The car was just right and very comfortable for 6 people.

Our private tour to see the Giant’s Causeway, Norman Castles, Bushmills Distillery and some Game of Thrones film locations was fabulous. The drive along the coast was gorgeous, and the Giant’s Causeway was spectacular. By being in a private car, we were able to go places that the big tour buses weren’t able to access. I would definitely recommend visiting the Bushmills distillery as well. If you don’t like being a part of a big crowd all day, this private tour was definitely the way to go to see a beautiful part of the country.

An excellent tour with an excellent tour guide. The sights were breathtaking and very much worth the trip from Belfast, our tour guide was very knowledgeable sharing the history and details of the areas and sights. Our guide made the extra effort to help us access each site timing our visits to beat the crowds and recommending the most fabulous small family run cafe for lunch. We definitely recommend this trip.

I set up a day tour of Northern Ireland for my group and this one was absolutely wonderful! JJ was our driver/guide. He picked us up at the hotel and the van was clean, with waters in the cup holders for us. He took us around all of Northern Ireland and gave us great details along the way. He was friendly and paid close attention to detail. He didn’t miss a beat! We all had a fabulous time and agreed that this day was the highlight of our trip! Northern Ireland is gorgeous! JJ took us places that the large bus tours couldn’t access! It was an amazing day!

We did a private tour with six people with Kieron McWilliams. Kieron was exceptional. He brought along pictures for Game of Throne fans so you could see where filming was done. We got to see two doors that were made from the trees that fell from the Dark Hedges…..Breathtaking artistry. This is a must see trip. So much to see and Kieron gave us so much history, craic and his time. I would definitely do this tour a second time. Please ask for Kieron for your guide, you won’t go wrong.

The driver gave us a lot of background information and answered all our questions, and we were able to tailor the tour to our personal preference so we could have plenty of time at our favourite locations. Battered after heavy weather and three missed port calls we arrived to see Jimmy’s smiling face waiting to greet us at the dock..
The 10 in our group were ushered to a spacious van with all window seating.and off we went through the Irish countryside.
Jimmy told us stories of Irish folklore as we traveled to the Giant’s Causeway — not to be missed!
Our stop at the rope bridge provided fantastic views of the Irish coastline.
Lunch at the Red Door Inn was worth the trip with wonderful Irish country cooking.
We made numerous stops at GOT locations. It was amazing to see what the real thing.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the awesome Irish countryside.

We felt like royalty touring in an immaculate Mercedes S class vehicle with our driver/guide Desi, who charmed and entertained us. We saw everything promised and many more unexpected sights. Desi was completely flexible and tailored the day to our preferences. He made sure to drop us off as close as possible to every highlight, and even drove us through the Dark Hedges (“King’s Highway”) while other tourists, trudging along the long road, looked enviously at us. We had a delicious lunch of Beef and Guinness stew topped with puff pastry (so good!) He also stopped at a roadside truck for the best ice cream of my life (that’s right–better than Italy’s best gelato.) Its quality must be due to the milk from local pasture fed cows. Thank you Desi for an enjoyable and memorable day.
