A perfect overview of Bangkok with a great guide and a seem less day of great experiences. Loved it all from the flower market to the Palace to the Long Boat ride and local lunch. All the details were covered. Great tour!
Rob6175 –
Excellent full day trip, the guide was very knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoyed the sights! Would highly recommend this company again.
Peggy_L –
The Best of Bangkok tour with Peter was excellent! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made our tour memorable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok, as a well as requesting our tour guide, Peter.
John_B –
We had a fantastic time with Krit who gave us a wonderful day .
He was very knowledgeable and amenable.
We really felt we’d seen the highlights.
Stephanie_C –
Great time on this tour with our guide, Sammy. This tour took us to many historical places around Bangkok and our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture and was able to give us lots of important information of the temples that we visited. Great tour overall.
Jonathan_W –
A very full and busy day but perfectly paced to fit everything in without feeling rushed at any point. Door to door service and very good commentary from our guide who was happy to answer all our questions as well as giving us plenty of ideas for other things to do in Bangkok for the rest of our stay
rhiannasexton –
Patty was an excellent tour guide. We were able to see all the main sites in Bangkok along with learning more about the history as well. Would recommend for those who only have a few days in Bangkok!
Jay_B –
The palace area is unlike any other place in the word. Beautifully overwhelming.
The canal were So interesting
Albert_C –
Our guide Krit was wonderful. He was knowledgeable of all the history. We both are seniors. He was very polite, patient, and very pleasant. We had a great day and felt our money was well spent. If not for Krit, we would not have been able to enjoy Bangkok if not for this guided tour.
Shaun_J –
We went on the all day (approximately 8 hour) explore Bangkok tour.
We were picked up promptly at 8am and we were making good time as there wasn’t too much traffic.
The temples and palace were excellent and the long tailed boat ride was also something new and we saw a different side to Bangkok eventually reaching a temple where we fed cat fish before returning. I don’t think we went along any canals and seemed to stay on the river and a tributary not sure if this was just a misunderstanding on our part.
We didn’t get to see Chinatown as it was closed (because we were too early – not great planning by the tour guide/company) and we didn’t see the flower market but walked past some shops that sold flowers (on a different tour the following evening we went to the flower market and we’re also told it was open 24/7!).
As we were ahead of time we had a disappointing lunch at 11.10 in the morning which wasn’t great.
After lunch we visited 2 further temples but the information about the sites seemed to get less the longer the tour went.
We were arrived back at our hotel at 2.10pm.
At one point in the morning the guide told us we would be finishing early. At the last temple she mentioned that she had another tour at 6pm and then tried to sell us a dinner cruise – got the feeling our tour was curtailed due to other commitments.
Overall this tour was not value for money; it was the most expensive all day tour of Bangkok on Viator and it didn’t provide the tour as published nor did we feel like valued customers.
Definitely disappointed but as regular Viator customers; this is the 1st time we have felt let down and overcharged.
Ana_L –
This tour was great !! Nen our tour guide knew everything about temples, palace and Bangkok. Our driver was always ready to pick us up in every site. You get to see Bangkok’s best in one day.

A perfect way to see the sights of busy Bangkok in a short space of time. The guide was very knowledgeable and we certainly felt like we made a good decision paying a bit more for the private tour which enabled us to go around at our speed and, most importantly, feel like we had the undivided attention of our guide who was very happy to share facts with us and answer any questions we had.
One quick note – when they say you need to wear full length legwear, they mean it! I had jeans with a very slight pluck (less than the size of my thumb) and I was instructed to change. Worth getting this right so you don’t have to end up wandering around in tracksuit bottoms like I did!!
Javier_R –
Peter was such a fantastic guide. story times were great and he managed the logistics brilliantly. Definitely a highlight for our trip
Jennifer_B –
Anne was a great guide. Had great knowledge and history to share, was super personable and had great energy despite it being a million degrees lol. Would highly recommend
david_a –
Bangkok was so amazing and we could not have seen a fraction of it without the help of our guide Lada and the driver. It is hot there so I strongly recommend having the air-conditioned car taking you between the sights, it made such a difference. The included lunch was perfect and we always had cold water at the ready. Do not miss the opportunity to see Bangkok this way.
stuart_r –
What a day and how can I say it what an experience a must for people to understand the history and culture of Thailand. Our tour guide Khun was very knowledgeable and had a passion for her culture and history. We also went to the Chinese markets where Khun explained everything we asked and the flower market I can only say WOW. Our lunch was first class where Khun explained the ingredients and how we should mix the food and the reasons why they eat certain plants (flowers). If you want to understand the culture this tour is a must, we did it on our first day and for the week had a greater appreciation on Thai food as well as the reasoning behind the sculptures etc which are dotted throughout the city.

My friends and I had an excellent experience . This was a great way to see Thailand for first time visitors . We were able to see so much in a single day . The highlight was our tour guide , Peter . He was knowledgeable, friendly , energetic and nice funny . He took amazing pictures of our group and kept us laughing and engaged all day long. I highly recommend this tour.

Great overview of Bangkok, its shrines and temples. I loved the 45-minute boat ride along the River and canals. I wish Viator used the “Quiet Vox” individual earpieces connected to the guides’ microphone headpiece set so everyone could hear what the guide is saying.
Amy_B –
Krit was an awesome guide as he showed us important temples and Buddhas all over Bangkok. He has great knowledge of Thai history. Our favorite part was the boat trip on the canals. We covered the city! Highly recommend this tour!
Janet_P –
Our guide Nan was very knowledgeable and shared the history and customs of her country. Her warmth and love of the country really came through and made for a fun day.
Joanne_C –
Very interesting day, guide Peeraphat very knowledgable and has a good command of English. Showed us around the main sites of Bangkok. Tour at a good pace and adapted to meet our needs.
A map would have been useful in order to orientate location of main sites.
Yves_R –
We visited the essentials in one day, all the temples and the Royal Palace. Good pace and well organized. Nan our guide is very professional and friendly, open and passionate! To recommend
Gabriela_A –
I took the tour on Sunday May 7th. Overall we got to see many palaces and even traveled along the river on Longtail boat, however there are things that could be improved specially if you consider the pricing. I was traveling with my mom and the tour guide, her name was An, kept rushing us everywhere. It was really hot and while the tour said it lasted around 8 hours, we were done in 4. The tour would have been much better if the tour guide didn’t seem to be in a rush to be done with us and get back home.
Scott_B –
Our guide did a great job. Her English was excellent and she was extremely knowledgeable about the history and art. Would definitely recommend, especially for anyone who wants to see the highlights in a single day.
Johnesha_L –
Crit was great and very knowledgeable. He was very attentive and patient with the older people in our group. Really enjoyed learning about all the different places we stopped! It was a long day, but I would still definitely recommend if you want to see all the major spots in Bangkok!
Peter_W –
Had a great day hitting all the major must see attractions. Peter was extremely knowledgeable and this was an overall great experience
Emsincwenglish –
Our guide was amazing… Best private tour we have had and we usually do private tours in the cities we visit
Victor_G –
So much fun! We learned a lot too. Lunch was included, and they provided free water to drink. I would recommend it to anyone.
