Unfortunately, I do not have many good things to say about this experience to. I will guide and driver arrived on time. The guide was very pleasant, but unfortunately, her fluency in English should have been much better. We found it quite difficult to communicate with her. She outlined all the places that we were due to visit. Because I found it difficult to understand, and I did not realize that that she was taking us on the wrong trip. after having visited the two mosques, I realizedthat there was something wrong and I checked my itinerary and showed it to her. She then realized that she was taking us on the wrong trip and we were to go for the Coptic trip. She contacted her office and they instructed her to take us to the Coptic area. Unfortunately, by this time a lot of time had been lost, and I feel that the full experience of the Coptic area could not be achieved in the short time remaining I am not entirely sure who to blame for this, but it certainly took away a lot from every important part of the experience. The one thing I did learn was to make sure I check the itinerary, with my tour guide, starting the next dayfor the rest of the trip.

The tour was excellent.. Our tour guide (Akmed) is a kind and well educated person who explained the most important information of rhe mosques and churches we visited. A very funny man who makes history interesting (and not boring). The best tour guide and also the driver in the many experiences I had in Egypt. I highly recomend this tour, this tour guide and this driver. Viator is very lucky to have them as employees.

I wish Ramia would had been my guide in all the tours I took in Egypt. She is the best, knowledgeable, passionate, and caring. She even gave me information about things that other guides should have taught me. I learnt a lot about this part of egyptian culture which is often not considered when visiting the country. You would not be dissapointed if you book this tour and you get Ramia as your tour guide.

My husband and I went on this tour and it was absolutely incredible, our tour guide Nehed was so knowledgeable and did a wonderful job explaining the historical significance and the inter-religious crossovers as well. Note that the Ben Ezra synagogue is closed to the public now for the next six months as it is under renovations. I was disappointed that we couldn’t see the synagogue, but the mosques and churches were lovely!

Our car was nice, driver was good but did not really speak to us. He opened doors every time we got in and out. We were not provided water bottles as advertised. The tour guide Olivia was nice but was 1/2 hour late she says she went to the airport by mistake. We didn’t have a problem with the being late but we did have a problem with her limited English. It was very difficult to understand the tour and to communicate with her.

Everything was nice to see. The tour guide Mohmaud from EMO Tours was excellent. My partner doesn’t speak English but fortunately he was fluent in Chinese. What a blessing. He also helped us buy 2 SIM cards. To buy a SIM card with our passports costs 450 EGP each. But with his ID it was 190 EGP each.

Wonderful and informative tour! My driver was so patient and skillful.. felt safe in Cairo traffic. My guide was so knowledgeable about Islamic, Christian and Egyptian history, very interesting and informative. I could ask any question. I came away with knowing so much more than when I started. My guide was also kind enough to seek out (multiple) ATMs, pharmacies for hair care products, a phone store so I could get a SIM card! :-). I would highly recommend this tour and guide.

The tour was great and should be included any one’s list of things to do and see in Cairo. Our guide, Habibe and driver were outstanding. We highly recommend them. The selection of the sites and the information by Habibe gave us a great appreciation of the religious significance of the Muslim temples.

This trip is a must for people interested in the stories behind these two significant religions, especially for those of other faiths. We found the visit to Cairos major mosques a very enlightening experience made more understandable by our guide Sarah whose knowledge and ability to explain the intricacies of Islamic beliefs made it understandable. She knows the key people including gracious Imans who were willing to share and interact with us. Very impressive indeed. The Coptic side was also impressive. She was ably assisted by pleasant driver Mahomet who helped make this a very memorable experience. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is a must do trip when visiting Cairo.. We decided to opt for a driver only tour without guide. He was pleasant gave ample time and was on time for pickup.. We started the trip with coptic cairo visiting the many different churches including one where Jesus and holy family had stayed .. It takes quite a good amount of time to visit all the churches , need to be quiet and respectful as masses were happening when we were visiting and long queues of tourists are there.. The Egypt citadel the internal beauty & great views , followed by the Islamic older mosques are architecture wonders and absolutely worth a day ..
