Tour operator no showed! When called he claimed he let the service know his vehicle was not running the previous day, however we had ZERO communication from anyone until I called the tour operator directly when they were 15 minutes late. This was the very first day of our honeymoon and we were only in Rome for the day. We had been in town since 10am and we’re waiting for this 2pm tour to see the sites. Had we known, we could have made other arrangements. To add insult to injury, Viator customer service told us the refund was a “token courtesy” 🤬 Uh, no…you didn’t provide the service as contracted. Very disappointed with Viator and the tour operator

Andrea, our guide, was so nice during our tour. He let us explore as long as we wanted, took us to unique places, and was very conversational. I don’t think we would have seen all the sites without this tour and gave us a great way to see what we wanted to return to.

Our tickets were booked and at the last minute (in fact while we were waiting for the driver), learned that he was not coming. I was charged for the tour, completed the form that provided the hotel details, names in our group, and the tour was canceled without even getting an email to let me know. I finally got a rep on the phone in the hotel lobby who apologized and said we would get a refund. Well then we had to scramble to get another tour operator to take us and they did in half an hour. So we are very unhappy with the service. Our friends Viator tour was also canceled the next day due to overbooking issues after they had purchased tickets weeks ago. So I will not be using Viator again after these two major disappointments.

Perfect half day trip to center Rome with this private tour, Gaber was very generous with times and the sites we preferred to visit. Since we had the tour on Sunday, Gaber suggested we go to the benediction of the Pope at the Vatican. We were moved by the ceremony.

This tour accomplished that as we saw not just the tourist spots but also neighborhoods and areas that were off the beaten path. It gave us more of the flavor of the whole of Rome!! You don’t go inside the locations, but Mr, Gaber Hussien gets you up close and personal with the sites. Driving in Rome is an adventure and Gaber handled the traffic like the pro he is. Horrible experience. Booked this tour to sight see a little before heading to the airport in Rome. Booked and paid for this and got an email later the night before pick up that they could not get us at our destination. Even though I wrote it in the notes where we needed to be picked up at the port and sent 3 messages about this making sure it was ok well in advance. Tried calling the company and could not get through. Viator was also no help. Contacted them on whats app for hours going back and forth and they kept telling me nothing could be done and no credit or refund would be made since THEY decided they could not pick us up within the 24 cancellation period. Insane! No messages of apology or anything. They never even confirmed they would not be getting us. They just never showed up and left 2 adults and our 2 young children stranded with our luggage in Rome., but still charged us for the service they never performed. Horrible service and even worse customer service. Stay away!
