Our guide Nashaat Agaiby who speaks perfect spanish and our chofer, Hossameldin, made the experience very pleasant, in a few days we got a really good idea of the city’s highlights in a private and comfortable way. Highly recommended to those who want to see lots in little time. :

Tree of Life gave us a 5 star experience in Egypt. Our guide Yasser and driver Mac was awesome, friendly and very very accommodating considering we were on holiday with our 3 year old daughter. During the different tours they explained and also advised us on do’s and don’t’s. Good communication and overall a relaxed tour with good value for money. The lunches provided both the food and locations were 5 star with high quality of both food and service – really memorable for my family. Thank you!

I highly recommend this tour to everyone. It is Cairo in a snapshot but you see and do absolutely everything. Yasser is a great guide – knowledgeable, professional and always attentive to his guest’s needs. At all times I was totally safe and amazed at the beauty and diversity of Cairo.

We took several tours in Egypt but this one from Go Discovery Tours and Travel tips it all. Bassem, our guide is an expert Egyptologist and we learned a lot from him. He guided us all the way, gave us tips on shopping too and even took a lot of our pictures for us. Thanks a million Bassem.

Day one exploring the pyramids and the Sphinx were stunning. Manar has been so knowledgeable and very kind in her support of answering any of our questions , ordering food and helping us shop for souvenirs. I would highly recommend going into the pyramids for an inside view of these great monuments.

My wife and I booked a three day tour with Mona from Let’s Explore Egypt and boy was it worth it! From day one she was hospitable, friendly and so knowledgeable. She helped us navigate the sights, taught us everything we wanted to know about Cairo, Giza and Alexandria. She was flexible, attentive, and accommodating. Also, the two drivers – Rami and Ahmed were masters of Cairo roads, getting us everywhere safely and quickly. Highly recommend! If you have a couple of days and want a dependable guide, you won’t go wrong here.

Excellent tour, saw everything in a short period of time. Great experience and our tour guide, Ali, was the best, really knows the history of egypt.

Did run out of time to see everything that is listed on the package but happy to shorten it as too hot anyway. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide and driver. Thanks Samha and Yusseri

I could go on and on about how great this tour was and would highly recommend that you book it! Not only did we see the typical Egyptian highlights but because of our wonderful guide Rania, we learned so much more than we ever expected! Each morning she was promptly waiting for us at the hotel to begin a day of adventure, history and fun. I don’t think there was 1 question we asked that she didn’t know the answer to. Having a private driver (Iman) and air conditioned car, ensured we rode in comfort everywhere we went, albeit the traffic in Cairo is an experience in and of itself, and Iman was able to drop us off at convenient points so we didn’t have to walk far.
There were so many wonderful places included in this tour that we never felt like we didn’t get to “see it all”. We packed in A LOT in 3 full days! Wear good walking shoes! One night we got back to the hotel early and Rania asked if we’d be interested in going to see a Dervish dance so we did and it was so worth it! As part of the tour we also enjoyed delicious lunches at very nice restaurants and every step of the way Iman and Rania made sure all our needs were met, whether purchasing our entrance tickets (included in the package), taking our pictures, having bottled water on hand or helping us with shopping. Rania did it all!
By day 3 we didn’t want to leave her and felt we had made a new friend for life! Rania, thank you so very much for the absolutely stress free, fun and adventurous time we had! Anna and I will never forget it!

This was our second trip to Egypt. Our tour guide Mustafa was great, spoke English well, was a popular celebrity amongst the tour operators. He gave us heads up about what to expect and was of course very knowledgeable about Egyptian history. We were able to adapt the schedule to spend time at what we wanted to see more than feeling pushed to keep,on his time. Very relaxed and friendly tour for all days. Driver was very professional and courteous. Must add that touring Egypt now is an incredible experience, and very safe. Highly recommend touring Cairo and Alexandria and tour guide Mustafa and Driver Jaeed(sp) most highly recommended ask for them by name if possible.

Our guide Mimo was fantastic. We had a really good experience during our trip. Highly recommend it. I just wish we could spend some more time to take pics.

The guide and driver (Mary and Housam) were great, the vehicle was clean and comfortable. The tour was also wonderful. Two issues came up which were not the fault of the guide or driver. 1) The Viator site presented this as an “all inclusive” tour there were several attractions that had entrance fees that were not included , and the cost rose quickly as a result. Fortunately we travelled off season so the waits were not overly long, however had this been during the high season, this would have cut into touring time for those who are on limited time schedules, 2) The Fish Market Restaurant in Alexandria was a big disappointment. The service was extremely poor despite the best efforts of our guide and driver. The seafood pasta dish presented on the menu was not even close to the picture and did not have much seafood in it. One of my party ended up with food poisoning and remained ill for the duration of the trip.

Our guide Manal showed us all the places we want to see. But Not only places but also typical food and drinks with all her heart. She had an answer to every question. Thank you for three awesome days. Her german and her knowledge of the country is Great.

PROS: Overall, our experience was pleasant, and I would recommend this tour although you should be aware of some surprises. Our tour guide Rashwan was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, went out of his way to accommodate us if needed and helped us beat the crowds of buses on several occasions, allowing our experience to be more enjoyable! The Driver was a true defensive pro on the road, very polite and just pleasant. Our hotel pickup hours were at 9am – return 3:30pm the first two days, and 7am – return 5:30pm for the Alexandria tour which is a two hour drive each way. Our favorite parts of the tour were the visiting the Giza Pyramids perimeter by horse carriage as the pictures were priceless. However, visiting the Saqqara Tombs and the Citadel of Quaitbay was just as noteworthy as the structures were beyond stunning! The Bazaar (local market) was also a unique experience as you are able to experience life from a local lens. The exterior architecture of the Mosque and buildings in the Bazaar were magnificent.
CONS: Lunch experiences are $25USD CASH per person per day, no credit cards are accepted at any lunch venue, outrageous for the value you are receiving. The Saqqara lunch experience was tasty and a unique experience, nevertheless. Important to note, there are no menus, you are served what they bring! After that experience, we declined lunch and asked to be taken to a place of our choice the next two days. Typical meals all over Cairo and Giza range between $5-10USD per person for comparison.
You are also randomly taken to see 3-4 local tourist shops which work in cahoots with the Agency i.e., (Egyptian Carpets, Oils, local art) this is not listed on the tour, and randomly added between stops so you are blindsided. Salespeople are extremely friendly but drive aggressive sales tactics. Don’t be afraid to say no repeatedly or negotiate everything starting at ½ or less of the starting point, the markups are unrealistic and the pass a 3% CC charge is you’re not paying in cash.
If this review was helpful, please make sure you add your detailed experience as it would have been nice to know a few things ahead of time. Otherwise, I would have rated this a 5 star experience 😊

Great tour guide by Mr Mohammed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something sure and safe. Better than any other guides around.

Be careful on so called private tours. They assign the worst guides for these small tours. Not much in tips. The tour guide on my 3 day private tour was the worst. Rushed us through the pyramids and sphinx, Alexandria,Cairo city. Many important sites he just had the driver pass by and we were left to take pictures out the car window. The car was in bad shape and small. He stopped and made us go shopping for various products that we didn’t even ask for, and worst of all he didn’t speak English or know enough to be a guide or “Egyptologist” He had no business being a guide. Ruined our once in a lifetime trip.

Sayed Khattab and Murshid Mahmoud were fantastic, both very knowledgeable, were able to answer all the questions I had, I felt very safe in the car, also in the streets where people would approach, they would take the worry away so I could enjoy my holiday. My only criticism is on the website it advertises all fees and taxes included, which is misleading, but this has nothing to do with sayed and Mahmoud
