The amazing limestone pinnacles- what a sight . The area is huge and so varied. Strange and beautiful. Great viewing of sunset and the shadows formed by the rock shapes. Star gazing over dinner was a treat. Great guide

Great experience with the bus tour. Tour guides friendly and experienced and great dinner in the desert too. Nice views along the tour, make sure you don’t miss them.

Was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to do the tour we booked and paid for as advertised with no communication there would be any changes to the intinery. We chose this one so we could stop at Yanchep National Park in the hopes of seeing the animals but the tour didn’t go there.
The pinnacles and star gazing was great. The tour guide was very friendly and kept it entertaining. The picnic dinner was fresh and tasty and was nice to have a glass of champagne too. Overall it is a good tour but just unfortunate it wasn’t the one we booked.

What an awesome experience made even better by our guide/driver, Laura, knowledgeable, professional, organized AND personable. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and professional with lots of stories, information and factoids about the locations, some history and some natural history, botany and geology. The food was picnic-y and certainly adequate given that we did little exercise. The stops by the seaside were enjoyable and the pace was good.
The tour guide’s taste in music wasn’t to everybody’s taste, much of it harking back to the very self-conscious 1980s. Some of the older passengers found it all a bit noisy.
The pinnacles were amazing; unfortunately we couldn’t see the stars due to clouds but hey ho, can’t have everything. Would recommend!

The Tour is nice and Sue is a fantastic Tour Guide. Be aware you travel in a large Group of over 20 people – THIS IS NOT A SMALL GROUP TOUR. The other problem is the bus which is super old and the seats are really not comfortable. I clearly would choose another operator next time

Although the Pinnacles and the stargazing were both magnificent the remainder of the tour was unforgettable and very disappointing. We were picked up over 30min late by a relief driver who had never driven the particular minibus and had never done this particular tour before. The two stops prior to the Pinnacles were not even worth visiting and then whilst at the Pinnacles there was no commentary regarding the star gazing. We then endured a long and uncomfortable drive back to Perth arriving at midnight to be dropped off in town and then having to walk another 10min to our hotel after the younger members of our group had all been dropped outside their accommodation. We are in our 70’s and were totally exhausted at the end of the day

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this tour and would highly recommend it. The beach stops along the way were gorgeous, but it would have been nice if we’d had time for a swim. We had plenty of time to explore the Pinnacles before it got too dark and it was time for dinner. Our driver was fantastic and was a wealth of information.

Very fun day, saw emus and roos on the way. Sue the guide was very nice and told us so many interesting facts and stories, the 2 hour ride there was as interesting as the time spent in the pinnacles, which was amazing! Would definitely recommend

Overall disappointing. Cramped bus. Knowledgeable but too casual tour guide. No water supplied. Food basic considering price.
Could be better and more professionally organised.

The sunset and pinnacles were amazing. Loved the huge white sand dunes but was unable to get a decent photo point. The food was very nice but the tour operator was somewhat overbearing unfortunately. Didn’t know where she was going when it came to drop off but blamed others. Could do with a less controlling manner with clients. She was knowledgeable though and for the most part was OK.

I am glad that I did the trip as it was always so mething I wanted to see. However, must admit that I was a little disappointed as I had envisaged the Pinnacles as being much bigger! Having said that, I happy with the overall trip and our guide was both funny and knowledgeable.

I thought from the description that we would visit multiple national parks which was not the case. Wrong time of year for any flowers. Stopped at Lancelin look out and then onto Pinnacles. Sadly no stars to see as cloudy. Guide did his best. Wouldn’t do the 2.5 hr road trip for this again.

Our guide Susie is the best guide we’ve ever had. Her knowledge was remarkable and her friendliness made for the best tour we’ve been on. The Pinnicles, magical, mystical, haunting are just some of the words that come to mind. Sunset was awesome! A MUST do tour!

  18. Michelle_C

Seeing the Pinnacles was an awesome experience. Geoff, our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable.

Sue was an awesome tour guide! She was fun, made the trip super relaxed, gave us great historical information about the relevant Australian history, Pinnacles, and great info about the stars! She had our dinner set up beautifully before the star gazing and helped find an alternative spot because our original site for stargazing was covered by cloud. Bonus was she was able to drop most of us off at our hotels seeing as their were all so close to each other.

Our guide Lauren was great. Enthusiastic, organised, informative. The small group experience was wonderful, with chance to meet and enjoy the experience with a wide range of people.

Long ride with appropriately timed toilet breaks and stopovers at the gas station. Nice stories from the guide, Lauren. My kids are captivated by the stories. Cool experience to dine in the dark outdoors (in the desert) with the company of really really stunning stars.
