Our guide, Gavin made the tour fun and interesting. We had so much fun at the dunes sand boarding which I thought I would never do! Watching the sun go down over the pinnacles was breathtaking. The dinner in the desert was delicious and the glass or two of wine to go with it was wonderful. It was amazing to be at the pinnacles at night stargazing and listening to Gavin explain the history of the place, the stories of our First Nations people and explaining the stars. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and it was a highlight of our trip to WA.

Gavin and Sam were amazing in handling the situation of one vehicle developing alternator problems. They kept the tour going in a positive manner. As “luck” would have it, the extra time spent in the park waiting for a replacement bus allowed us to view a clear night sky after a daytime sky filled with clouds

Easy pick up from a hotel in Perth. Tour guide was funny friendly and very informative.
We booked mainly for the Pinacles and didn’t pay much attention to the sandboarding bit but really enjoyed this part too!
The journey out was broken up but be warned tge return trip takes about 2 hours. My mini bus all fell asleep! We were back in the hotel for 10-30.
We thought this was going to be a smaller group but we were accompanied by another group. We both had our own tour guide but when we got to the pinnacles there were a lot of people on a circle
Stories lasted about 5 m utes which was disappointing
Tipto tour guide 2 white and two red wines is rather mean amongst two mini buses
Youngsters had a full glass and some people had nothing! At least 8 bottles needed
The food was good and it was an easy way to visit spectacular Pinacles

Amazing day/evening. Unfortunately too much cloud for star gazing, but great anyway! Our driver Skip was absolutely amazing and because we were back early due to not being able to get telescope out he took us to Kings Park to see the city views. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour was amazing! Our guide Gavin was very kind and accommodating. Pick up was on time, the coach was very comfortable, we made plenty of bathroom stops and Gavin provided a good commentary during our drive. The pinnacles themselves were something out of this world and watching the sky come alive at night was magical. I would highly reccomened this tour.

The Southern night sky was amazingly clear and the Milky Way was amazingly visible (which is something I can’t ever see from my light-polluted view in the Northern hemisphere). (I also thought that the food was much more delicious than I anticipated.)

I once saw so many stars in the sky many years ago, and it was a surreal experience. I have always wanted to share that experience with my wife, but we have missed a few opportunities due to not too ideal weather conditions.
Finally, this trip made our wishes came through that we were able to enjoy a starry night sky including the Milkyway Galaxy. Coupled with the experienced guide, good food and wine, it really made our experience a memorable one.

This was an amazing experience, a true natural wonder thousands of years in the making. The sunset was extraordinary followed by the wonder of the night sky. The stargazing was magical and the guides were able to point out various clusters and galaxies .that we were able to view through the telescopes.. I would recommend this this trip without hesitation everything from pickup to drop off was flawless, however it is a very long day and the desert is extremely cold at night so take extra clothes including a beanie. Well worth the money.

Wonderful day and amazing stargazing night. Was surrounded by a galaxy of stars and the guide was very informative. Stars in the pinnacles are like the gift from the nature. Defo worth going for anyone. Remember to bring enough clothes to keep urself warm at the night in desert. Nth to complain tbf.

I’ve been on other star-gazing tours before, and this one was by far among the best. Gavin was just excellent–knowledgeable, competent, funny. The food was tasty and filling. I’d never sandboarded before, but I will be again after this. Pinnacles is a place that must be seen and experienced. The sky was very cloudy, but Gavin literally pivoted the scope to show what was available–when one constellation or star disappeared, he quickly located another. It was a great tour

This trip was one of the highlights of our recent holiday to Australia. The trip was excellent from the start where we were picked up in Perth to the end. We all loved the sandboarding (which was very fast!) but the tour of the Pinnacles and BBQ beside them in the desert while the sun set was just amazing. The food was great and blankets were provided as it was getting chilly. Looking through the binoculars and telescopes was an unforgettable experience, made all the better by our excellent, friendly guides. Would highly recommend!

Everything was excellent and I would really recommend this your to someone looking for something different.
The sand dunes and sand boarding was amazing. Super fun.
I felt Gavin’s real passion was the astronomy and what we were able to see us something I could not have imagined. It was so much better than I expected. He showed us so much through the telescope, he gave us all binoculars and had a laser pointer to ensure we could all see what was happening.
A huge shout out to Gavin who worked so hard on the tour. He picked people up from everywhere abd dropped them all bank afterwards (obviously). He also made dinner on top of everything else.
The only thing that could have been better would have been better bonding with the group which is hard to fo on a one day your and with doing everything he was going it feels picky to say so

We were there bf sunset and the changing colors of the pinnacles was beautiful! Also, one of the clearest nights ever. Have never seen so many stars. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, professional, and yet so funny!!!! Would love to go again!!!
