The experience itself was memorable for many reasons. I’d love to do it again. My guide spoke English and translated enough but didn’t talk so much to take away from the spiritual moment.
My only gripe is that the description isn’t clear on how much time you actually spend transporting there. The location is just outside of Tulum, perfect for people staying in Tulum or even Playa Del Carmen. I spent 3 hours each way in a van since I stayed in Costa Mujeres. The road construction probably added 30 minutes but still… I got back to my resort around 1am. 4 hours is the time on the property. The ceremony itself is only 1 hour total (30 of those minutes are inside the womb)

A very enchanting and entrancing experience. We were lucky to also have unintentionally booked it on a full moon, which lit up the entire surroundings as you exit the temazcal. The refreshing dip in the nearby cenote was also very welcome, complementing the heated ceremony perfectly. The guides were quite friendly, and the shuttle service is comfy. Definitely recommend some repellent however, since the mosquitos are merciless. Overall, the whole experience is highly recommended!

A great opportunity to get an experience that is not typical. The ceremony was based around understanding, mindfulness and spiritual connection as the Mayan culture does. The ceremony, sweat lodge, Cenote swim and dinner is something I will never forget! It’s a bit adventurous for some but for those looking for something special, this is it!
