Wonderful and attentive crew. A very tasty menu and drinks. This is a very good value for your purchase- the service, the 3 hour cruise , premium liquor/ wine, spacious room on boat, and amazing staff along wonderful picturesque sunsets shots.

Soooo… where do I begin? The ticketing process was a horrid mess. When you arrive at La Terminal, there are no signs, so you have no idea where to go. No one to meet you. There are no instructions. We arrived early, and were told to sit up in a nearby restaurant- someone will come get us when it is time to board. Did that happen? Of course not. We went down to the dock and were turned away because we did not have the correct ticket to get on the yacht. So we had to go back up, check in at the desk, surprised by another $10 docking fee, received the paper ticket, and were then allowed on the boat. We were the first ones at La Terminal, but the last ones to get on the boat. Made no sense.
At the back of the boat, there is a long table in the middle with multiple chairs for family style seating, with a couple smaller tables at the periphery for a more intimate experience. In the middle, you’ll find a huge bed with several scattered colorful pillows, and at the front, there is another table with curved couch seating, big enough to seat about 4. There were a few couples, us, and then a big group of girls all dressed in white on the boat, roughly 30 people. We were absolutely NOT looking for a party scene, just a quiet, elegant time to celebrate our anniversary, so I was kind of nervous about the big group….
Before we went out, we had to sit through an entertaining intro by the captain to tell us about the crew, basic safety instructions and the overall layout of the evening. They made some of us take off our shoes and some of us were allowed to keep them on. I was confused about that. They gave all of us a welcome drink, which looked really good initially and a very nice touch, but was definitely watered down and utterly devoid of flavor (I was a bartender in my past life).
The hubs and I decided to sit at the front of the boat, which was comfortable, beautiful, and allowed a welcomed cool breeze as we looked at the sites. They played soft instrumental pop music, remixed with violins, other strings and piano. No, there is no live music but it is a very very nice addition to the overall ambiance.
The front of the boat is absolutely where you want to be to glimpse the rock formations and arch. Hubs and I were among the first to get our pics taken. They do take pictures with a pro camera and sell them at $30 for 2; credit cards are taken. You are guided through multiple poses, the photographer reviews them with you to choose the best ones, and you get them before you exit the boat. Another nice touch.
The crew was very attentive, consistently asking if we wanted anything, like another drink. They were definitely pushing the alcohol. They served top shelf liquors and could make just about anything for you. But the bartender was not the greatest, so if you have a certain palate for mixed drinks, you will be disappointed.
Dinner was very lacking and just not good. Even though we told them no beef or pork, we still got slabs of pork with cheese, crackers and olives as our appetizer. We just ate around it. They served me some sort of fish, with prawns and asparagus. The fish was too tough, the prawns over cooked, and it was all drenched in an oil. No flavor whatsoever. My husband had a steak that more resembled a frozen meat patty with mash potatoes and asparagus. He also said it wasn’t good. We went to Edith’s after, and had much much better, tastier food.
Sunset came around, and we found out fairly quickly that the best place on the boat to enjoy the sunset is at the back. If you are at the front, you have to crane your neck and turn all the way around to see it.
The group of girls got a little sea sick, so a couple of them vomited off the side of the boat. Multiple times. That was a pleasure to see [insert sarcasm]. It would have been nice if the crew could offer some nausea meds for those prone to sea sickness at the beginning of the excursion. Because those of us who are not truly do not want to see people vomiting while we are trying to eat. Definitely ruins the meal!
Now this is where the experience took a turn: The crew took notice that it was our anniversary and surprised us with a bottle of champagne. It was awesome! They shook it up, and let us pop the bottle on the side of the boat. The only thing was this was towards the end! So the hubs and I really only had about 15 minutes to enjoy that bottle of champagne before we docked. It would have been better to do that earlier, but nevertheless, it really elevated the night for us!
As you leave the boat, there is a tip jar waiting for you there, and the crew is all lined up behind it, eagerly watching to see the level of your generosity. We tipped $400MXN, because the crew was just outstanding and it was a unique experience. Was it worth $400usd on top of that?? Mmmm….For $400USD, I would like better drinks, better food, more attention to comfort (offer nausea medicine at the beginning, maybe), an easier, clearer, more thoughtful check-in process and the photo should be included.

The staff was amazing. However, the trip
was unenjoyable. The ship is extremely old resembled more of pirate ship than a yacht It was extremely uncomfortable. both getting on and off the ship It’ appears to be worst ship on Marina to take a dinner cruise on. Also no whales available to watch. In addition ship circled the same attraction for two and a half hours
However, the other guests did state the food was good. Worst birthday ever

We had a fantastic time on this boat! We got to see whales, enjoy good music, and the service was top-notch. It also stopped at the famous arch! The dinner was excellent and the staff bent over backwards to make sure we had fun!! Highly recommend. They take pictures of you throughout the cruise and you can pay for them at the end which is awesome.

  10. Peter_C

Incredible service, food, drinks, plus we got to see whales as the sun set! Was a fabulous trip all in all.

  11. Deborah_P

  12. Chuck_H

Food, drinks and views were great, but service was what sets this apart—as the crew and their service was phenomenal. Highly recommend!!

  13. Kaushik_R

The service was truly exceptional. They took care of us non-stop! Drinks, hors-d’œuvres, and entree were top notch in taste and presentation. And they had some great music playlist as well. I would highly recommend this tour!

  16. David_o

It was one of the best experience we ever had as as family. Very relaxing, the crew was amazing, great food and drinks, beautiful sunset!!

  17. Francis_L

We were seated with some great folks and the service was excellent. However, two hump back whales stole the show, breaching and playing with one another a few yards from the yacht.

  18. Chuck_L

This. cruise is excellent ! Great food, service, views, etc.. A must do while in Cabo! One of the best things we did!

  19. Chris_K

This was such a wonderful experience. It was a little confusing at first because of how we booked through Viator we didn’t know the name of our ship, so we almost missed the trip but once we got on it was amazing. There were probably only 20 people on the ship and the service was amazing. Everyone was so attentive and accommodating. We were able to take our meal at the front of the ship and watched the sunset the whole time. The meal was excellent and the drinks as well. I would highly recommend this sunset cruise. It was worth every penny and we will be doing this again when we return to Cabo.

We had such a lovely time sailing last night! Drinks were awesome, food was great, and the service was top notch! We relaxed on soft pillows and laid back enjoying breathtaking views of the arch and Cabo coast! Whale watching, fun music, and nice/clean bathrooms were all a great bonus too! Definitely recommend and would do it again.

Nice people, great views, and great food! Classy ship and way better than the little water taxis that bounce around.
