Rafael was amazing!!!
I booked the group tour while traveling solo and was the only one. So I got a private tour at the price of a group tour!!!
This tour and my tour guide (Rafael) did not disappoint.

1. Called local operator and told them we were at the port and we would have to be back before 12 noon to meet the last shuttle boat back to the ship, so he offered to pick me up in about 15 min so we be able to return on time.
2. Once we arrived on the Cactus tour, once again we told the clerk that we have to be back at the port in time so we don’t miss our shuttle and he said ok
3. We headed to the waiting area for the tour and were just left in limbo with no one paying attention to our situation.
4. I went to speak with the person in charge of coordinating the ride for the tour and once again I explained my situation then he said he will have one guide for me so we can finish up quicker.
5. After the ride we were guided to the photo sale counter and purchased pictures and once again I explained that we need to return back in time so that we don’t miss our shuttle to the port.
6. We boarded on the van with another couple to head back and my wife give a tip to driver and told him we need go to the ship first.
We thought we are going to the ship but instead the driver headed to the Hard Rock hotel which is added another 18 to 20 min to the trip and resulted with us being 12 minutes later than my expected return time the port to catch the boat ride to the cruise ship.
I phoned the local operator again and relayed to him what the driver did and he told me that he would speak with the driver. Nothing changed. We ended up being 12 minutes late than the time we were supposed to be at the port. Luckily, we were able to catch the last boat to meet the ship.
We had a great time doing riding with the guide but everything else was hell. We had the feeling that no one seemed to care about the customers needs. If I had been aware of the lack of service and attention to the customer, we would not have chosen this excursion.

There are quite a few “add on” charges between tips and “recommended” upgrades but overall a fun experience. We paid extra for the private tour and I do think it was worth it. I think the camel ride is a one and done but would do the atv again. I was a little nervous booking outside of the cruise ship excursion desk, but all worked out perfectly. The driver was timely and pick up/drop off as promised.

We (included wife, daughter and three grandsons) have been on many cruises, this excursion was the best we have ever been on. We did the upgrade which was a little pricey but worth every penny! Our guides Jose and Mike were friendly and provided top notch service!!! They were informative, entertaining and just FUN!! Made for a very memorable day.
I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. Even if you are not on a cruise

We paid $365 more for the upgraded ATV. Then we were told it was not available after we had paid. Yet I was not refunded. You can only go really slow behind the guide anyway so the idea of more power is a total ripoff even if the thing is available.

The trip was not well planned. The driver was a bit abrupt. The company wanted you to pay to take your phone but then charged for 100.00 for pictures that they took. The pictures were of bad quality with no video. The check out person was rude. There was so much confusion around transportation.

There was 2 of us we paid 250 online, then we got there and had to pay another $80. We were told no phones. ALEAYS BRI NC YOUR PHONE WHEN SOMEONE SAYS NO PHONE. Then photos were $100, and tips for guides and drivers back n forth to hotel. would have rather knew all the fees up front and been able to take my phone. I would have enjoyed this more, I don’t like it when they charge before after and during fees. In the end it was about $500. I didn’t like that some people had there phones and we were told not bring ours

Beware. You won’t be able to take picture. They will upsell you an additional $150 to a private tour if you want to take pictures. If not, the picture package at the end of the tour is over $100. They need to be transparent about their prices. All in all, we have an additional $250 added to this tour! Also, you get a very crappy little side by side that struggles to run unless you pay an additional upgrade for machines. It is ridiculous.

Very fun experience. Camels were very lovely. The UTV ride is a little boring as you really only have two speed moments. The rest is all slow driving. I was also promised a bandana for the UTV rides and was never provided one – instead was told to buy two from the shop. So just make sure if they offer you something you ask for it – maybe they’ll give it to you. Overall it was a good experience, probably could have got it cheaper via other providers but paid for convenience.

Huge rip off. Paid 260 for camel n atv then 25 per person for entrance totaling 50 and 45 insurance fee. 104 for pictures or upgrade to private for 150. So i upgrade only to find out that the tour guide won’t take pictures. I paid by card the 260 through viator. Got there to cactus paid the rest cash for upgrades and insurance and 100 on my card. Then i Checked my bank account they charge the whole amount of 252 on my card. And now they’re ignoring my attempts to reach out. I went March 13,2024. My birthday. It’s better to just wait till you there it’s ppl downtown who has it for way cheaper. I got a nice picture. But it’s not worth dam near 500 something for this.
