We were on Boat #7 with Erick and his crew and they were great! Highly recommend! It was such beautiful weather, water beautiful and clear made snorkeling and swimming so fun!

  2. Laura_W

Justine on boat 7 was amazing. She had a great personality and the service and vibe on the boat from the crew was sensational. Tajin rimmed margaritas are a must try.

  3. Anthony_P

This was terrible. Being over 60 years old we were not allowed to snorkel. That was the reason for this excursion. This should have been communicated before the trip.

  4. Alexander_M

Nice catamaran experience. Crew, food and drinks were good. Lasted around an hour.
Unfortunately the subsequent 3 hour visit to Isla Mujeres spoilt the whole trip. It’s far too long a time to be left alone. Far cheaper to take the ferry if that’s what you want to do.

Extremely dissatisfied with this “catamaran snorkel cruise”! The staff was 100% fabulous – not their fault at all but we started our day at 7am – we were the first to be picked up because we were at the end of hotel row… ok… but as we we waited for couple after couple who didn’t show they continued to send our van to additional locations, beyond the Marina… it was ridiculous… and made our van late so nowhere left to sit…
Fine, finally we were on the boat, it pulled out right away and all was wonderful, wind in our hair, juice in our hand… and then after 10 minutes we were stopped to snorkel along side 10+ other boats. There they told us people over 60 years could not snorkel – this was half our group! Nowhere in the description was that specified! Snorkeling was a quick, guided tour over some grasses and a couple statues and right up out of the water. About 15 minutes in the water… Boat then continued to motor towards the Isla where we were given our “lunch” at 10 am and about the time we finished that they dropped the anchor off the coast and allowed us to float for another 15 minutes or so…
They loaded us back up and we motored about 5 minutes down the coast to a dock where they dropped us off and left us for THREE hours!!! Some of the most expensive beer and crap and pushiest vendors we’ve seen during our whole stay in Cancun…. it was a miserable “adventure”. I love being on a boat and make sure to book one everytime we vacation and have never been so disappointed by an excursion in my life! This should be named water taxi to Isla Mujeres.

So I booked this excursion from my friends that came to celebrate me and my twin for our birthday. Unfortunately the day of my birthday the trip was cancelled. Now I tend to think I’m pretty understanding but in this particular situation I was very displeased with how the cancellation was communicated. So, the excursion was booked for 2:15 pm for 10/11. Me and my friends got ready and were all waiting in the lobby of our hotel to get picked up. 5 minutes pass, then 10 minutes pass then 20 minutes pass. Finally I reach out because where is our transportation? At 2:35 pm I get a response saying our excursion was cancelled. The excursion was scheduled for 2:30pm! So, how do you notify your customer after the actual start? A lot of time and energy was wasted on dealing with this reservation and the lack of customer service is alarming. Would highly recommend to avoid using this operator.

The crew on this boat was top notch! We had such a fun day, the food and drinks were good and the service was even better! Captain Louis and tour guide Bryan made sure it was a wonderful experience for every guest. The water and the island were pretty great too!

  8. Karen_S

Such a great experience! Fantastic and friendly staff. Shiva was so fun and so amazing! We could not have asked for a better experience. This went beyond.

  9. Iva_Z

Snorkeling and swimming around boat and Isla Mujeres island is most fun. Ocean view and water color is amazing

  10. Jill_C

From the easy/hassle free resort pick up, the incredibly fun and professional tour guides (Abraham &crew) to the beautiful snorkeling spot and sail back to the marina, we would recommend this tour 100%. Its important to mention other bad reviews regarding transportation issues might come from folks not following up with both Viator, the booking company, and Cancun Adventures, the operating company(the boat!). Both processes are easy, and we will be booking another tour with both next year!

  11. Bart_B

This is a typical Cancun’s adventures Cruz, nothing special or high-end about the catamaran.actually Really small as they take 30 people and we had 15 of them….liquor very low end and staff semi friendly… you can rent same thing for $59 not $140 per Person. This listing is definitely misleading …Do not book!Save your $$$$

It’s my parents’ first time to cancun, so I booked some pretty classic tour for them. I orginally thought this boat tour may not be that fun, however, our guide Carlos makes everything so fun and happy! I read some reviews before, some complaint about the snorkeling, some compalint about the 3 hour stay at the island. I would say people feels in different way based on their expectation. I like the atmosphere on the boat a lot! Carlos is always so passionate and making everyone happy! And the 3-hour at Isla Mujeres actually is not that long and boring, it just passed so quickly. The drinks price is ok. The beach is so nice, I would bring my kids back some time later, to enjoy the boat ride, the atmosphere on the boat, and the beach at Isla Mujeres.

  13. Martin_M

nice ride wonderful views, turquoise colors are amazing, trip is awesome. Careful with the sun use your sun cream blocker.

  14. Tracina_H

Ocean views enjoyed the professionalism. Isla Mujeres is a must see. The people are friendly and very welcoming as well.

  15. Nikki_E

Great staff, great experience. Snorkeling was only for 25 minutes, I was expecting more. The island was okay just kinda crowded with other people being dropped off as well.

  16. Yongjia_P

Overall, it was a great tour, staff on the boat are very nice and we really enjoyed. But we got charged $20 US dollars per person when we checked for dock use, which was not indicated for the booking confirmation and the wristband we got after checking clearly showed the message from the government: $10 peso for dock use. I asked the checking in staff there, I was told that they were required by my agency ‘Viator’ to charge $20 US dollars, which is ridiculous! Will never use this agency any more, and stay away for future.

  17. Amy_M

it was a very windy day and I was concerned about taking my family on the water but was in the penalty period so would have lost $500 if we didn’t go.

  18. Arindam_R

The island itself was great. Wish we had more time at the island. They spent too much time in the boat itself with unnecessary activities such as diving and snorkeling. They should just have the tour focused on taking to island and back. The service on the boat was excellent.

  19. brandyn_t

Good time with friends, booze and boats! We had a really good time and enjoyed it very much. Perfect

  20. James_D

We had a great time with Sebastian and his crew on the catamaran. They were very infomrative, took care of the 30+ people on our boat with great ease.
The snorkeling was so fun we saw so many cool fish and other interesting ocean life. The water was stunning!
We did feel a tad rush with lunch and we soon learned that when they dropped us off they would be heading back to get another group.
Isla Mujeres is a very busy tourist island. There is not many places you can sit on a beach lots of walking and peuple everywhere. You will be haggled to buy souvenirs and cigars super annoying.
After a few hours we then were lined up like cattle to get back on the boat heading home. Not luxury at all
If it was more time on the boat and less on the island it would be worth the money.

Unprofessional experience from the driver who was supposed to pick me from the hotel. The instructions said to wait in the hotel lobby. The driver waited literally on the Main Street and left without even going inside the hotel. They have the contact details and could have contacted. I pinged them asking what’s happening and learning what happened, took a taxi and barely made in time. ruined the whole experience.
