Great excursion, no hassle round trip transfer to hotel. Snorkeling great! Approximately 1.5 hour boat trip to Isla Contoy, short tour of the island, then time to swim, including lunch; then boat tour to Isla Mujeres, about 50 minutes free time and then return to Cancun; great day trip, but if you have a tendency to seasickness, make sure you take the necessary precautions, but with a tablet it’s no problem for me!

The tour was lovely, we had a two hour drive from playa del carmen to the dock where we took a boat to The snorkelling spot ( we saw many fishes and a few structures from the underwater museum), then we went to playa del carmen where we had one hour, it was nice but very touristy and crowded. Next we got two hour boat ride to contoy island which was my personal favorite, a paradise of lizards, crabs, soft sand and clear water, not to mention amazing food ( as a vegetarian I was really satisfied), plus a tour of the island with our amazingly informative guide who spoke at least 3 languages ( that I counted). The only thing that was not in my taste was that the breakfast was just a snack (a banana and a piece of cake) and so before taking this tour, if you’re a morning eater, I recommend you eat before because it’s not a satisfying breakfast. Enjoy!

We had a great time. US Mujeres was very crowded but sitting on North beach made up for it. Isla Contoy was the highlight of the trip. We could have skipped Isla Mujeres and spent all our time there. Beautiful beach. The crew were excellent. They took care of everybody and had us all singing on the way home. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
