The trip was fantastic. I really enjoyed the stop at the working farm. Richie was the best and Kathy/Warren were entertaining characters that made the trip fantastic.

Had a lovely time on this day tour. Antonio (tour guide) was excellent and engaging, providing fun anecdotes and quality recommendations for food/drinks. Great choice for those who prefer to avoid crowds and are seeking a more local experience. Very family friendly, the sheepdog farm was excellent and my favorite part of the day. The hike through the Wicklow mountains can become steep if you venture up. Only thing I would want a little more of is time at the mountain for a proper hike and some more time to explore Kilkenny, however if you manage your time well you can accomplish plenty in the allotted time. Special acknowledgement to Krishna (bus driver) for waiting a couple extra minutes in the morning for me as I got stuck in rush hour traffic but beware to be on time because they are very prompt and punctual! Would go again.

Great tour. Liam was great and had so many stories. I appreciated that he gave us the itinerary upfront, let us know of changes as they happened and give us time for lunch, bathroom and coffee breaks. Sheep dogs was good but too short. Kilkenny was wonderful and the amount of time was prefect. We had a full bus of about 50/60 people, and I realized that I prefer small group tour better.

Had a lovely day despite a bit of a late start to no ones fault but traffic. I loved the animal experience, was lovely to be able to connect with nature even in the Wicklow Mountains. Richard and Paulo were wonderful.

What an incredible day! Kilkenny Castle, beautiful scenery, and to top it off, it ended with an opportunity to hold an adorable little lamb! The tour guide and driver were fantastic! Highly recommend!

Great tour. The shepherd part at the end was the best, but the sight-seeing, guide and overall tour was lovely.

This was an amazing trip made better by our tour guides Suzanne and Sarah. With plenty of time at each stop we were able to really enjoy each.

This was a really fun trip. The mountains were beautiful and it’s definitely worth it to make your way to the second lake. The lambs were also so soft and they let you hold them. We had a really great time and the tour guide (David) was really knowledgeable. The driver (Paolo) kept us on schedule so much so that we got a little extra ten minutes in some places. Well worth the trip.

Liam was a wealth of interesting and insightful information. He was engaging and witty. Kilkenny was lovely. We spent the morning shopping leisurely and enjoyed our time there. It rained by the time we got to the park but it still worth it for the views. My favorite part was watching the dogs herd the sheep, but the highlight was actually holding the little lambs. All in all great tour. And our driver Paolo was great too! How he navigated those narrow winding rows in a coach bus is beyond me.

Trip was so much fun! I definitely recommend going on a sunny day if possible as there’s a lot of outside time; we got lucky with the weather and it was just gorgeous. We visited a castle, shops, and sheep! Driver Warren and guide Kathy were so much fun and told jokes.

  12. Leah_P

Liam was a great guide and the main reason this tour gets 5 stars. They were on time with everything. Glendalough and the sheepdog farm were absolutely amazing even amidst the horrible weather.

  13. Stacy_P

Wow is all I can say! This was a great trip. The weather was absolutely terrible but powered through the rain, wind and snow to see everything. Our tour guide and bus driver were great as well. The sheep dog trials is a must!

The Castle was beautiful and loved going inside. The weather was nice and enjoyed the stories and learning more about the area. The sheep/ herding dogs were impressive ! A great day & experience

Amazing views in the mountains! Truly enjoyed Kilkenny with the castle and other ancient buildings. Sheep farm with the dogs was fun. Guides were entertaining and helpful.

Despite the weather being finicky at first, we enjoyed our time and had blue sky’s and sunshine come mid day. Loved seeing the mountains and enjoyed Kilkenny very much.

  19. Michael_M

Despite rough weather, we had a fun trip, it was a great way for my mother in her 70’s to get to see the sights without overdoing it.
The bus was comfortable and Ian our guide and Lisa our driver were very friendly and welcoming.
We would do this again! And we got to hold a lamb!

Cathy and Warren were amazing. Cathy was so informative and fun. Kilkenny was beautiful. Glendalogh was serene and the monastic ruins were sobering. Stopping at Richie’s sheep farm was a fun way to end the day. Thank you Cathy and Warren for a really memorable day!
