  3. Kelly_D

We had an amazing time on this trip! Our driver was great, and it was really nice being in a smaller sized van/group. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone! Powerscourt was amazing!

  4. Anita_S

Thoroughly enjoyed the small group tour experience with an excellent tour guide! Richard made the tour fun, and educational. We learned a lot of interesting details about the areas we visited, from a native guide.

  5. Daniel_M

Great way to visit Powerscourt and Glendalough – the allocated timings for each place was appropriate, the tour didn’t feel rushed or slow. Matt was our guide, and he was nothing short of a gentleman, whom is filled with knowledge.
My only feedback would be for a larger vehicle to be used, as it was slightly cramped but nevertheless it got the job done.

Powerscourt gardens were amazing. The trees that were planted 300 years ago, when the garden was built are now gigantic and very impresive, especially various conifers. Wicklow mountains and the lakes were beautifull as well. The trip was a very wellcome respite in nature.

Johnny was a fantastic guide and a very safe driver! We visited the impressive Powers court estate and it’s lovely gardens. As memorable as the estate was, so was the beautiful drive through the Wicklow Mountains. I dare say the scenery is some of the best in Ireland! Throughout the tour, Johnny provide us with interesting and informative stories about the history of the area and of Ireland. I learned a lot. This was a wonderful tour. Johnny was excellent! I would highly recommend this tour with Johnny as the guide/ driver!

I always dreamed about visiting Ireland and I think the best way to cover the most of it is by traveling in this tours. I traveled with my husband and we had a great time. The tour takes you to Powerscourt where you get to stay about 2 hours, then they took us to have lunch in Enniskerry Poppy’s place, then to see the Guinness lake and the PS. I love you bridge, and to Glendalough´s park when we got to see the Upper Lake, which was, to me, one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. I really enjoyed the experience and truly recommend this tour. Ireland’s weather should not stop you from visiting this places, but I strongly recommend taking a raincoat with you.

We really enjoyed our day with Matt. He made the day memorable by transforming our appreciation of Ireland’s history over many millennium as an ancient civilization. We marveled as his safely drove while filling us with knowledge, weaving in humor. He helped us maximize productive time at each stop. His arranging us a perfect place to lunch really added to our comfort throughout the day. Driving through the mountains, he taught us alot about foliage, natural life cycle, and water mineral content.

All of the destinations on the tour were amazing and our tour guide Johnny was friendly, informative and a real pleasure to meet.

  12. Maranda_T

Pretty views, but neither the Estate nor the Monastery had much to see compared with what I expected. Guide spent a lot of time talking but didn’t have much to say

  13. Nancy_S

Enjoyed the trip and the fellow travelers–all much younger than my friend and I.
Our guide–I think his name was Richard–was excellent. A great way to see a bit of the country if you are not renting a car!

  14. Matt_S

Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and stuck to timetable. Weather was a bit dicey but he only went places where it was safe to do so.

  15. Kristen_K

Beautiful tour, even in the cold. Only downside was much of the grounds at Powerscourt were cordoned off to avoid slipping on icy paths.

  16. ClarizzaBianca_C

This was a great small group experience! This tour also makes a stop in Enniskerry Village which was very small and pretty. You have lunch at a restaurant called Poppie’s. Highly recommend!
