When visiting Dubai, the iconic Burj al Arab is a must see. Initially, we wanted to reserve a table in one of the restaurants, but they were fully booked. This tour however turned out to be a great substitute. You actually see more than you see when going to a restaurant, since they also show you the Royal Suite and other places you can’t see as a restaurant guest or even as a hotel guest.

Hotel’s architecture is impressive, hotel’s interior is probably not evybody‘s taste … swanky, especially the Royal Suite overloaded with gold and plush where we spent most of the time if our tour.
We enjoyed the tour, but it is a bit overpriced.

The tour was amazing, very well planned and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. The views were beautiful, you are allowed to take pictures, and at the end you could buy souvenirs, the Arabic coffee and dates were nice.

We only have seen the entrance of the hotel and an appartment on floor 24. Nice elefator. Nice appartment. That’s all. And the included drink after the excursion on the garden was a coctail of frutes. Along the creek you pay 30 dh and here € 50,00 p.consumption.
For this price of the tour we expected and wanted to see the reception, the bar, the restaurant and other accomodations / rooms in this hotel.
So very unhappy for this expensive tour

You guys (Viator) are a cheat. The same experience was available at much lower prices. And then you have a complete ‘no-no’ to a cancellation / refund. This shows that you guys know that you are fleecing customers and if the customer realises that he is being fleeced, you are not going to entertain that.
Inside Burj Al Arab was a great experience but the idea that one has been fleeced, left such a bitter taste that I wouldn’t ever recommend bookings through Viator…. not even to my large group of family and friends living in US/ UK/ AUstralia. I would rather put in a highly negative word regarding Viator. Hope you guys relaise that you don’t gain customer loyalty by fleecing them to make a quick buck.

To see the Royal suite was amazing.
The only thing what the boy in the restaurant can do beter is that we had a reservation for 2 golden cappuccino, but I don’t drink milk and asked for a cafe americano instead of cappuccino. The golden cappuccino came on a golden plate, with a glass of water and a chocolade and the cafe americano in a different cup without water or chocolade and not on a golden plate. He just had to change cappuccino for cafe americano…. That was all.

This experience is very expensive, however it does not offer too much. After waiting in a random lobby, you could take them up to the hotel. It’s amazing to see in person, but I would have not rather see you. You could take him to the master suite, which is now a museum like setting. There is nothing very interactive, and you’re basically left alone to see the hotel on your own. Jordan brought back down, and that is the end of the trip, nothing special, just very expensive.

We have been to Dubai 4 times before and always fancied seeing inside but never taken the time and it is so worth it. It is not for everyone but the story and the decisions are all worth seeing.
The tour itslef is so well run and so good, you are guided for part of it but also left to look around yourself and you really can do the second half at your own pace. Also all the guides are well informed, friendly and helpful and more than happy to take pictures for you.
