Fun experience!! For the adventure trail, we stopped many times to take photos that we lost track of the time and didn’t realise that it was already dark considering we arrived around 4pm. We were not even half way to the end of the walk and decided to go back as it got darker. But was fun being the only ones doing the adventure trail at the time and by the time we got back the ropes had already been closed off and thought maybe the receptionist/guide at the time had forgotten that we were still in there lol. But was quite an awesome experience though, highly recommend if your in an around the Tikitere area and would like to see waterfalls and some cool geothermals explode.

Beautiful area for enjoying the mud baths and sulfur springs!
We spent 20 mins exfoliating our skin in the lovely hot mud baths.
There are warm showers to get the mud off, then you have the opportunity for a cold dip in the fresh spring, or head straight for the warm sulfur baths.
There was plenty of room, and a lovely view of the natural sulfur springs.
You get used to the smell after a while – but i highly recommend a bag to put your swimmers and towels in as the sulfur can get stuck to your other clothes/belongings. Also ensure you have access to a washing machine after!
The staff are very kind and helpful, we got a lot of useful tips to make our experience better, and info on what to do after.
Minus 1 star due to lack of public transport to the venue, and no shuttle buses (it was a pretty quiet day though) – so get ready to spend a bit on an Uber to/from the venue unless you have a car.
    A must-do expereince in Rotorua!
