The bus trip and our driver Mr FBI were great very informative with lots of knowledge and facts about the countryside and bush. The only negative was the amount of people on the cruise the boat was so packed and due to the rain no seats available and it was difficult to walk around and get a good viewing spot. Overall a great day.

Overall, this is a must-do for first-time visitors to New Zealand. (Would give 4.5 stars if allowed.)
– The two-hour cruise on Milford Sound was unforgettable, with unbelievable views throughout the whole journey. You’ll get tons of great photographs that won’t even do the beauty justice.
– Our bus driver Shilendra (sorry if misspelled!) was very entertaining and funny throughout our trip. He provided many interesting nuggets on our way there, and allowed for rest on the way back.
– The “picnic lunch” on the cruise was sufficient – A cold cut sandwich, chips, some fruit, and cookie, with water, coffee, and tea provided. There was an upgrade to a buffet for $49 NZD.
– The cruise is packed with people. There are three levels, with the top being open-air for the best photographs, and the bottom two levels indoors with seating.
– The bus ride is long and windy. I struggled with motion sickness. Be warned if prone! Thank goodness for the rest area with bathrooms and food halfway.

Benjamin drove us to Milford firm our cruise yesterday. He’s informative and helpful with the commentary he provided. The boat we travelled on was immaculate and the staff were courteous and efficient. The journey was unbelievable and breathtaking at the same time. A well put together package and great value
