From start to finish this trip was awesome.
The plane was a special experience flying just above the mountains in a 12 seater plane with fantastic views on all sides.
Milford sound boat was equally impressive with beautiful waterfalls and great commentary along the way and great sights to see.
Price was also affordable.
Would definitely recommend this trip.

No food on boat. So you need bring food if you want eat. Free coffee and tea. The walk from the plane to boat does take a while so if you not okay walking then you need be aware of this. Great trip we both enjoyed it and well worth doing this then a eight hour return drive. You also need check weather our flight was cancelled. Lucky for us we got to fly latter that day. So you need have some flexibility if on a tight timetable.

The airplane trip is amazing, the pilot (coral) was fantastic, she explained the whole landscape and was very pleasant, a very pleasant and amazing trip. On a cruise through the very beautiful fjord, the boat goes through the fjord, there were not many people when I went. There is no time to walk around there, yes. Expensive, but it is VERY worth it, about 5 hours on the road and 45min by plane and seeing the southern alps from above ….. priceless. Check in is an hour before! And it doesn’t mean today as this website says.
