Mee –
The experience was good. Mariko our guide was very kind. This trip was a good way to spend one day in Kyoto without having to worry about logistics. I wish though that some areas we would have more time but it’s understandable given the time we’ve received as it’s about 40-50 minutes between each site. Overall, I’m glad we did this tour. It made everything so much easier.

The trip was smooth and had no problem. I thought we could have stayed a little longer at Fushimi Inari Shrine, and reduced the time we stayed at the last stop at Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. As I don’t like Japanese cuisine very much, I think it should have the option of with or without lunch included, because I had to buy with lunch and couldn’t enjoy it because I thought I could choose what I would eat, that had some option, but not there were.

Overall it was very good, our guide spoke in Japanese and then in English, without being extremely helpful because my mother’s sandal broke, and he bought a glue and made that hack. Just a detail that bothered me a little, but considering the amount of places we visited, it really becomes a detail. The time we had in each place is enough to take that quick walk and take some pictures, so if you are the type of photographer tourist it is very busy, then I don’t recommend it, because you can’t have that experience of feeling the place calmly.
