amazing tour of pompeii our tour guide was absolutely magnificent she knew her history! BUT the only sad part of the tour was Mt Vesuvius unfortunately there had been a landslide the week before and the path to the summit is closed . so we took the bus to the car park (top ) and had magnificent views of a closed gate and some trees (not what I was expecting but can’t be helped) we when headed back down and stopped again this stop was much better beautiful views of naples. its so unfortunate of the landslide really frustrating but it’s not the tour operators fault.

The tour of pompeii was excellent. Francesca was a great guide, very fun and informative. The bus ride up vesuvius was a little rough and the hike was longer than we expected, but at the summit I proposed to my girlfriend which was an incredible experience and perfect moment. Even if an engagement isn’t on your agenda, the views from the top of the mountain are truly spectacular and well worth the climb. Overall if you can handle the climb I definitely recommend the tour, just be ready to walk a lot.

For my taste it is a highly recommended excursion, the guide that was with us told us in detail about the ruins of Pompeii… I was somewhat reluctant to go because they had told me that it was not worth it, but it really is worth it. The excursion to Vesuvius, if you are a person who does not tolerate the curves on the road or does not tolerate hill walks very well, I do not recommend it; it is a visit without a guide and they do not tell you anything about the volcano. If you want to have the experience of being on top of a volcano I recommend it.
