Through the tour I got a great overview of the stunning nature of the Highlands but not only that because our guide Brendon constantly enriched the quite long ride in the coach by telling facts about the history of Scotland as well as Harry Potter. He was very fun to be around with his great sense of humor and it didn’t get boring at all. The ride on the Jacobite train was also a beautiful experience though unfortunately it was a little bit crowded and we couldn’t choose the seats for ourselves.

The trip was worth it, the trip through the Highlands is a highlight in itself even before the train journey. The train also took us more than 2 hours through the most beautiful nature. Also, we could see the train from all perspectives (inside, above and below the viaduct), that was great! It’s generally a long day and a lot of time on the bus, so you have to be prepared for that

Have a great day in the Highlands! This was one of the highlights of our stay in Edinburgh. Nice, comfortable bus, very nice guide (thanks Willy!) And fun for everyone, even if you are not familiar with Harry Potter. Nice, various stops along the way and beautiful nature along the way.
