Would recommend this tour. It was a great way to see a lot of areas in a short period of time. Our guide Gasperi was excellent! He was on time to pick us up and took his time explaining the sights and had a lot of connections in the area which got us great service. The weather wasn’t the greatest unfortunately but he maximized our time the best he could. Great tour!!

Erice was the high spot, literally, of this tour. Perched on a hilltop, it’s a charming walled mediaeval town with a long, climbing main street with busy shops and tempting pasticcerie. Plenty to interest the historian. Segesta has an imposing location, especially the amphitheatre high up that looks out on to the valley below. In midsummer it’s a bit gruelling, even taking the shuttle bus to the top. The driver was friendly, but little in the way of explanations. Lunch on a farm near Trapani was excellent: local produce and especially tasty was the Sicilian caponata. An enjoyable tour.

This was a great day tour. Erice was a pretty medieval town to walk around for a couple hours and the included pastries and story behind the cafe there were both good. The lunch was delicious! And Segesta was very scenic…I didn’t realize there was also an amphitheatre there in addition to the temple, which was a bonus to see. Our driver Marco was fabulous!!! Such great commentary throughout the day!

Very glad we did this tour. Saw beautiful countryside, lovely town of Erice with stunning views of coastline. Also nice lunch and visited Roman amphitheater and Greek temple. Josephine, the guide was very good and made it an enjoyable day. Good driver and bus as well. Was worth it.

Erice and Segesta are both definitely worth seeing and the transport was comfortable. However, the driver/guide we had wasn’t particularly friendly or forthcoming. Although this isn’t a guided tour he appeared reluctant to even answer questions we had about Sicily and the places we were visiting. As other reviews have commented about other drivers/guides just some basic info from a local really makes the difference between an ok trip and an experience and unfortunately that was lacking on this tour. He also forgot that pastries were included until after we had all made our own way to the cafes in Erice, although he did then give them to us after and offer a refund. The food at lunch was good and plentiful but note there is no tour included in the visit to the olive oil producer, just lunch.

I can’t say enough about this guided trip from Palermo. Our driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable and allowed us enough time to explore both locations. She also provided a name of a private driver for us in Palermo….. much, much cheaper than the white cabs. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!!!!!!

The tour guide, Marco, was very organized and attentive to his guests. I would only suggest skipping the salt flats and adding an additional 30 minutes to the temple at Segesta as we found ourselves running out of time to see the Roman theater.

Neither one of these tours. In Segesta both my friend and I was unable to walk to view the sites. The tour director, who was very nice, did not inform us that it was a very difficult walk nor did your indicate that it was a difficult tour. Had the same experience in Erice .
Have used your company before and enjoyed my tour.
This was very disappointing experience both time wise and dollar wise.
A reimbursement would be highly deserving in this situation.

Our tour leader (Nicola) was a superstar. He helped arrange our pickup from the station and gave a fantastic tour. He picked up on the things we found interesting a gave a fun and very well rounded guide to Sicily’s history and the places we visited. He was fantastic and great with our 7 year old!
We had a lovely day trip and got to see Segesta, Erice and the salt plains. All were very interesting. Wished we had a little longer at Segesta but we had so much to do.
The drive was very smooth. It was nice to be driven in an Aircon minivan and not have to worry about the travel.
We would highly recommend this trip if you want to visit these places.
