High recommend this trip!!!It was well organised and I saw everything I come to Egypt for.Great value for the price I paid.My guid Ghada Kamel was great.She was very helpful and honest I don’t know what would did without her.If you want to spend your time in Egypt with trouble-less she is your person.On my last day she suggested to go to Nubian village instead to other temple and I am so glad I did that.Everything was early great.Go and visit Egypt totally worth it!!!

Historical sites was of course the only reason to go to Egypt. Glad I went, but no hurry to go back any time soon. Long days, lots travel to get to locations. Not much time to relax except a day on the cruise. Cruise was the best part of trip. Room was nice, but not much more to say about the boat. Hotel in Cairo was not very nice. And Cairo itself is not a city you’ll want to stay at for long. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Due to Egypt culture, be ready to tip for everything. Also bring plenty of their currency since entry to temples etc is usually cash and all extra. Count your change! People in my group were getting ripped off by vendors. Also watch your bill on the cruise. They’ll charge you for coffee if it’s not during breakfast. Just an example. You get what you pay for. This is a low budget tour, so just expect lower end accommodations, etc. All in all, still glad I went

Overall this was a great trip to see a lot of the main sites in Egypt. The days spent on the cruise were superb. Our ship was called Nile Serenity and we couldn’t fault it. Rooms were clean, spacious and luxurious. The room had its own balcony which was lovely. The restaurant and staff were great with fabulous food. I have a lot of allergies and intolerances and the chefs were very accommodating. The itinerary was changeable which we were not told about initially but we did see everything listed just not in that particular order. I think it depends on the day you begin your cruise. We had a fabulous guide called Ahmed on the cruise, he was charismatic and very knowledgeable, came into the sites with us and explained everything. The cruise part of the tour is done in groups which isn’t made clear on the Viator site. Ahmed literally sorted any questions or small issues we had and we really can’t speak highly enough of him.
The days in Cairo were hit and miss. I think it depends on the guide you have. The first hotel we stayed in was the Mamlouk Pyramids, it was ok but basic. The rooftop had a great view of the pyramids and the light show and the chef was very accommodating with my allergies. After we finished the cruise we did the day trip to Alexandria (paid for separately). The hotel we were booked in to when we arrived back in Cairo was pyramids oasis, we checked out and booked our own hotel. I’ll leave that there. This wasn’t the fault of the tour company obviously and they did refund us the cost of this.
On the last day, the tour company provided a half day tour of Cairo and our guide was Mohammed. He was an incredible guide, again very charismatic , knowledgeable and talked with passion about Cairo. On reflection we would have liked to have had Mohammed for the other days in Cairo and Alexandria it’s amazing what a difference he made.
There was plenty of time to explore the sites on your own if you wished and they all had cafes/restrooms if you required them. The hot air balloon ride was amazing and although it’s a very, very early start it is well worth it

The four star is for Viator and Here Egypt Tour – it may even be three. But the people we came across during our stay in Egypt – our tour guides, drivers and other caretakers all deserve 5 stars.
We are very impressed by tireless care Mohamed took from the beginning to the end of our stay in Egypt; especially the way he handled a crisis of missing an internal flight from Cairo to Luxor. For the same event Nour from the travel agent also deserves kudos. We are touched by personal level of care our driver Sayed provided despite language barrier.
Now the reasons for not getting 5 stars. The Nile cruise part of our package was supposed to start from Aswan and end at Luxor. It was changed -the cruise started from Luxor and ended at Aswan which on itself is not a problem. But despite asking several times, I never got day to day itinerary for the changed tour. Internal flights were booked but not paid for – this communication gap resulted in agonising wait and few international calls; changing airport terminal etc. But Nour resolved this problem last minute even in very early hours of the morning – and waited online until making sure that we are onboard. We could not go to hot air balloon ride as it was cancelled citing weather conditions.
The fume of idling engine was not comfortable in cruise ship nor was the noise of the engine.
But overall this was a marvellous holiday and we definitely recommend it. Yala tala Habibi. 🙂

My sister and I had the most amazing trip to Egypt. Our personal guide, Zakarys Saad gave us insight to the history of this wonderful country. He had so much information about each site we visited. The trip was perfectly planned. Each day was better than the day before. This is a bucket list item for me. The trip was better than I could ever have imagined. This is a must see for any traveler.

I booked the tour through Viator, although there were initial problems trying to message the tour operator, about two weeks before the trip I was put in touch with Mona (coordinator) through whatsapp. Mona was very prompt in responding to messages, and was very helpful. She let me know the name of the driver and contact information about pick up from air port in advance. The cruise tour from Aswan to Luxor was wonderful with the help of our guide Mohamed Wafa, who travelled with our small group on the boat. Mona was great, would check with us every day about how we were doing. Thank you Mona and Mohamed that made the tour safe and enjoyable.
