We were so excited for the tour and had a good tour leader (Ahmed) and the driver (Mohammad Hassan). Timing was good too and was able to catch our flight on time but Lunch wasn’t included as promises when I bought the ticket online.

Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone! Sayed Mahmoud was an excellent tour guide and made sure we had the most out of our short layover in Cairo. He also took good care of my elderly mother who is not able to walk longer distances.

Number one reason why people look for a tour guide in Egypt is due to lack of transparency in many things like Taxi fare, scammers harassing you on the street, people acting as if they’re workers on attraction sites.. and many more.
While the tour guide and the driver was a very good human being, I still didn’t like the opacity of this package. Extra fees if you choose to be picked up from the airport (not listed under description). Going to these affiliated papyrus store and gift shop without asking my intention. I felt like I was traveling in the 1900s with a tour company, where they would take fat margins because people didn’t have access to wi-fi, smartphones back then.
It was just so unfortunate to see how the people in Egypt were ruining their own tourism industry through their uncivilized mindset.

We booked a driver and guide only. Khalid the driver and Mohamed the egyptologist were excellent and very relaxed. We went at 8:00 and we had no locals herassing us and had a great time visiting the piramids and the Abu al-Hawl (Sphinx). Also the WhatsApp with the tour operator is very useful in advance.

It was the first time for my family so we booked full package with transportation, guide, lunch. It was an overall great experience. The guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are staying for a while like in a local house and not hotel, you could spare the lunch part. Many thanks to driver and Mr Zaid. We highly recommend it.

Our Japanese guide, Annie, was polite and very friendly. The driver was also very friendly. They told me about the pyramids in detail and took a lot of pictures. It was a very informative half day.

The tour started out great. The guide was so informative, he answered all the questions we had. The driver was a pro, driving in Egypt is insane and he got us through. The guide was friendly and walked us though everything. The driver was there when needed. There is a lot of walking. If you can’t walk uphill for long, not the tour for you. So we tour the Pyramids, Spinx, leave loving it (besides seeing all the skinny horses) . Then they take us to a place we can “learn about the original oils”. The guide leaves us and we are stuck in basically what felt like a time share sales promo. Buy this perfume, buy this oil, let us sell you this crap and put it all over, smell, feel it on you. I understand going to a souvenir shop they get a commission from the shop. To leave you unattended for a sales pitch not cool. I know it was not the guides decision, but the operator. We tipped the guide and ended our tour directly after that. I didn’t not want to be put in any of those situations any longer. For that reason I can’t recommend this tour!

Collected on time and had a great guided tour of Giza Pyramids and area where we could see the Sphynx. Our guide was super (tonsi….i hope i spelt that correctly), driver was also great. Would recommend to anyone who wants to see the pyramids, there was no hard sell on anything additional which was very welcome. Thank you tonsi for such an enjoyable tour.

Felt so amazing being at the pyramids and feeling guided through it all, shared interesting knowledge and stories! Really comfortable car, and good driver in the manic traffic!

Visiting the Pyramids was a great experience! Our guide Sam picked us up at Cairo airport on time and welcomed us to Cairo. The car was air conditioned and two bottles of cold water were there for us.
The driver was very friendly and our half day tour to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx began. He drove us to different spots at the Pyramids’ site where we visited the Pyramids and Sphinx.
Sam, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible and gave the history and important information on the Pyramids. He even took a lot of amazing pictures of us!
The tour included lunch and a visit to a Papyrus place where we learned how papyrus is made. Sam even took us to a souvenir place for shopping before we were dropped off at Cairo airport to catch our connecting flight.
It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a few hours in Cairo.
