My trip was better that I expected. Georgina and her staff took care of every detail to make sure I had everything I needed. Her staff, especially Hesham, Abdul, and Mohammad, were extremely knowledgeable about the history of the sites I visited. They even assist me with items that had nothing to do with this trip. I plan on going back soon.
I highly recommend this trip.

For a first timer going to Egypt , it was an awesome way to start. Reflection tour organised everything from start to end. Despite a few choppy start with the hotel and cruise, Georgina and her team promptly handled everything professionally. well done. I got a little sick during my tour and my tour guide Mohammed Sayed (they are all Mohammeds :)) had a genuine concern of my wellbeing. Appreciate that. Well Egypt is beautiful and do visit this ancient country. You can do it on your own or with Reflection tour or other tour agency but definitely have a tour guide as there is soo much of history and knowledge to take and certainly enjoy it as I did.

The scenery is amazing, and the crew on board the ship were incredible. A few little things, though, created some issues: the itinerary failed to mention that we would spend the first full 48 hours of the cruise on a ship that didn’t move. Half of the four-day cruise, you spend docked in one spot. Also, our guide assumed we didn’t want to spend the extra few bucks to be allowed to take photographs at the Valley of Kings and never gave us that option. That was a bummer. And you may as well take out that “free bottled water” part of your inclusions…That never happened.

This is a good budget tour, hosted by Reflections. Tours normally are done between 1 and 3 in the afternoon. And there is an “open” day. So if you want to do any additional day or evening tours, they are an additional cost. I did 3 night tours and a couple day tours……..which ended up costing me another $500. You do not have to do the additional tours. You do not have to book additional, if you chose not to.
Reflections picks you up at the airport, gets you through customs and visa and takes care of you from the time you land in Egypt until they get you back through security on your departure flight. My two guides Mahamed (Cairo) and Youssef (Luxor and Aswan) were excellent. Their English is very good and they are nice people. They have great knowledge about the sites you visit and take the time to explain. And they always check to make sure your questions are answered and allow you additional time to walk around the sites. They also take care of you. I had one merchant try to take me for additional money and Youssef went back and got my money back. Much thanks!! They will also take you to places off the beaten path. Local markets, tea shops and restaurants……….with the locals.
The only complaint I have is that the booking was changed………itinerary, hotel and flights. I was not informed until I landed in Cairo. And it took me and my guide a couple of days to get the changes to suit my schedule. I would advise Reflections to ensure that they always contact the customer when changes occur.
Otherwise, I would recommend this tour to first timers in Egypt.

I am a solo traveler and i wanted something custom made for me, and with this tour i found my match. everything about it was great. especially the service with both tour guides. the hotel and ship was excellent. they really took care of me. People in Egypt are kind and respectful. Please go to Egypt their is so much to see. Take enough cash for TIPS these people deserve every penny. So much to see, and I got to see it all.

The Cairo part of the tour can be crazy, patience is key, lots of people pushing people and learning how tips are a big part of the culture. The Nile cruise is the best part of the tour a pleasant experience. Be advised summer in Egypt is Crazy hot 40C+ it is shocking. Don’t think it’s good for older people, saw many running out of breathe. Take an umbrella for some shade. I will say we did enjoy this trip, the history and sights are amazing.

La operadora fue Reflextions Tour y llegue al Cairo donde encontré al representante de la agencia con un papel escrito a mano mientras otras agencias se veían más profesionales. El me ayudo con el proceso de la visa y me llevaron al hotel cerca de las piramides, nunca me explicaron qué esperar los tiempos, nada, después de preguntar a qué hora empezábamos al día siguiente llegue a descansar. El primer día del tour es en El Cairo y afortunadamente tuve un guía increíble Mohamed Gaia fue lo máximo hizo un tour divertido por las pirámides, esfingue, algunas tiendas para comprar, el museo y el mercado, lo que me dio pena es que domingo en la tarde muchas tiendas estaban cerradas, comimos comida tradicional y me sentí segura. Al día siguiente llegue a Luxor y el guía nunca me espero adentro del aeropuerto como si hacían los otros. Tuve que buscarlo afuera del aeropuerto y realmente fue rudo conmigo y con el personal del crucero, fue impertinente como viaje sola se tomó más de las atribuciones que debió, a pesar de decirle que prefería comer sola se sentaba en mi mesa y trataba de evitar que hablara con los otros turistas del crucero, en algunos momentos me sentía insegura y nunca me explicaba nada del itinerario. Su conocimiento de lo que visitábamos fue impecable y ayudaba con las fotos. Pero realmente fue mal educado e impertinente. Con el tome 2 tour adicionales y la visita al pueblo nubio fue terrible lo lindo de ir ahí es andar a camello y el decidió que había mucho calor para tomarlo y aprovechando que no entiendo el idioma me dijo que no era necesario. El crucero con un personal de primera pero que debe mejorar en el tema de las atracciones en la noche para los turistas. Luego de eso regrese al Cairo y ver de nuevo la cara de la persona que me ayudo el primer día me hizo sentir más tranquila. Realmente Reflection no es una buena agencia no se preocupa por el turista.

The tour was excellent
Was met at the Cairo airport upon arrival and taken through to the driver who took me to the hotel. Unfortunately I did not get the guides name name but it was brilliantly done
The next morning I was transferred to Luxor and my guide, Roshdy, met me and with the driver we started the tour.
He was thorough and kept me fully informed about the places we visited he went beyond the duties expected and nothing was to much touble. He not only knew what he was talking about he could impart the knowledge
After the river cruise we undertook a tour of Aswan. Once again really well done
Was transferred to the airport and flee flew back to Cairo. Once again met at the airport by my guide Mohamed Mahmoud, and transferred to my hotel. The next morning he picked me up and we undertook the Cairo tour
As with Roshdy Mahmoud was brilliant. He spoke English very clearly and knew what he was talking about and was able to convey the information in a easy to understand way
The next day was picked up and taken back to the airport.
Overall the experience was brilliant seeing so many interesting temples etc. The experience was enhanced by the two guides

Egypt was wonderful must visit place if you love history. Overall experience was OK.
Couple of issues:
complaint I have is they won’t informed you about your itinerary, hotel and flights before time. So we won’t be able to book any other tours beforehand. They gave itinerary last week and that also change when we reached there. We have to cancel out “Abu simple” tour which we booked one week before and had to booked private tour through them so we end paying a lot for same tour.
Nile Cruise . We spend lots of time on Cruise. But there was not much some entertainment. basic stuff they should keep in cruise like TT table, Pool Table, Board game …

Overall, our trip went according to plan with us being met and picked up at the appointment times and places. However our free day at the end of the tour was unexpectedly moved to the third day.
Our guide Mohsin was passionate about his history and gave us a reasonable account of what we were witnessing. He also helped us with our shopping.
However I recommend that optional tours during free days should be mentioned in the tour itinerary so that people are aware of these options and can budget accordingly if required.

This was such a great trip. Our guides for the tour were amazing and I felt like they really looked out for my family (we were traveling with my older parents and also 3 kids–age 10,8, and 2! ) They were always on time, transportation was always arranged and it was very organized. I always felt very safe. We didn’t receive a lot of communication before the tour began but I was assured from the beginning that we would be taken care of and we were! Highly recommend!

We had An amazing series of experiences.
Wife and I booked this experience after some hesitation. We had a few concerns, coming from the states, about the logistics of such a coordinated effort to make so many experiences in so many places work. We were very concerned about the legitimacy, to be frank. Somehow, VIator was able to manage all these moving parts and for the most part, every thing worked out. We felt very special when we landed in Cairo, twice and guides were there with our names waiting. THey know the languages, they had water waiting in the cars and they were excellent teachers of the wonderful history of the varies sites visited.
Lessons:
It would have been nice to have an itemized expense list to better be able to assess tips. With one big bill, we have no idea how much the driver cost, the hotels cost, the flights cost, the cruise costs or the guides cost. TIpping became a bit complicated.
If possible, we would have liked to had a balcony in our room on the Nile ship. You may want to request this specifically.
The communications with the tour company where not the best. I am sure that I had a role in the process, but a direct phone number line would have been helpfull.
Insist on being involved in the Hotel and flight selection processes, we had to change our hotel and flights. If you are reading this you are more than likely an adult. Remind them of this fact and get the details as soon as they are available. We felt like children sometimes when Reflections simply handed us our flight tickets and hotel locations with no consultations or considerations for flight times or hotel distances from where we wanted to be.

Voyage bien organisé. Les guides ont globalement été excellents spécialement Ismaïl à Louxor et surtout Allam à Assouan.
La croisière s’est bien passée même si nous avons trouvé que nous passons plus de temps à quai qu’à naviguer. Surtout que pendant cette période la vue de la chambre est bouchée par le navire amaré à côté. Le bruit du moteur en permanence est un peu pénible sur le long terme.
Il était agréable de pouvoir converser en direct via WhatsApp avec l’agence Réflexion Travel sur l’organisation d’une journée à l’autre même si pour ça nous devons payer pour avoir le wifi sur le bateau.
Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de notre voyage.

The next morning I was transferred to Luxor and my guide, Roshdy, met me and with the driver we started the tour.
He was thorough and kept me fully informed about the places we visited he went beyond the duties expected and nothing was to much touble. He not only knew what he was talking about he could impart the knowledge
After the river cruise we undertook a tour of Aswan. Once again really well done
Was transferred to the airport and flee flew back to Cairo. Once again met at the airport by my guide Mohamed Mahmoud, and transferred to my hotel. The next morning he picked me up and we undertook the Cairo tour
As with Roshdy Mahmoud was brilliant. He spoke English very clearly and knew what he was talking about and was able to convey the information in a easy to understand way
The next day was picked up and taken back to the airport.
Overall the experience was brilliant seeing so many interesting temples etc. The experience was enhanced by the two guides

Thanks for the two gentleman’s named Mohammad & Ahmed Haroon one in Cairo and other in laxer. excellent guides. we enjoy every minutes of the tour. they way they explain. is beyond ours imagination. we are happy to say if we get a chance to come again we will request these two again.

Egypt was wonderful must visit place if you love history. Overall experience was OK.
Couple of issues:
complaint I have is they won’t informed you about your itinerary, hotel and flights before time. So we won’t be able to book any other tours beforehand. They gave itinerary last week and that also change when we reached there. We have to cancel out “Abu simple” tour which we booked one week before and had to booked private tour through them so we end paying a lot for same tour.
Nile Cruise . We spend lots of time on Cruise. But there was not much some entertainment. basic stuff they should keep in cruise like TT table, Pool Table, Board game …

Overall, our trip went according to plan with us being met and picked up at the appointment times and places. However our free day at the end of the tour was unexpectedly moved to the third day.
Our guide Mohsin was passionate about his history and gave us a reasonable account of what we were witnessing. He also helped us with our shopping.
However I recommend that optional tours during free days should be mentioned in the tour itinerary so that people are aware of these options and can budget accordingly if required.

Hotel at Giza is very old and dirty, water turn hot and cold frequently, without electricity there times at night. No comment on Nile River cruise cause did not go for covid 19, tour guild meca at Cairo is good

This was such a great trip. Our guides for the tour were amazing and I felt like they really looked out for my family (we were traveling with my older parents and also 3 kids–age 10,8, and 2! ) They were always on time, transportation was always arranged and it was very organized. I always felt very safe. We didn’t receive a lot of communication before the tour began but I was assured from the beginning that we would be taken care of and we were! Highly recommend!

We had An amazing series of experiences.
Wife and I booked this experience after some hesitation. We had a few concerns, coming from the states, about the logistics of such a coordinated effort to make so many experiences in so many places work. We were very concerned about the legitimacy, to be frank. Somehow, VIator was able to manage all these moving parts and for the most part, every thing worked out. We felt very special when we landed in Cairo, twice and guides were there with our names waiting. THey know the languages, they had water waiting in the cars and they were excellent teachers of the wonderful history of the varies sites visited.
Lessons:
It would have been nice to have an itemized expense list to better be able to assess tips. With one big bill, we have no idea how much the driver cost, the hotels cost, the flights cost, the cruise costs or the guides cost. TIpping became a bit complicated.
If possible, we would have liked to had a balcony in our room on the Nile ship. You may want to request this specifically.
The communications with the tour company where not the best. I am sure that I had a role in the process, but a direct phone number line would have been helpfull.
Insist on being involved in the Hotel and flight selection processes, we had to change our hotel and flights. If you are reading this you are more than likely an adult. Remind them of this fact and get the details as soon as they are available. We felt like children sometimes when Reflections simply handed us our flight tickets and hotel locations with no consultations or considerations for flight times or hotel distances from where we wanted to be.

Voyage bien organisé. Les guides ont globalement été excellents spécialement Ismaïl à Louxor et surtout Allam à Assouan.
La croisière s’est bien passée même si nous avons trouvé que nous passons plus de temps à quai qu’à naviguer. Surtout que pendant cette période la vue de la chambre est bouchée par le navire amaré à côté. Le bruit du moteur en permanence est un peu pénible sur le long terme.
Il était agréable de pouvoir converser en direct via WhatsApp avec l’agence Réflexion Travel sur l’organisation d’une journée à l’autre même si pour ça nous devons payer pour avoir le wifi sur le bateau.
Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de notre voyage.
