We were quite disappointed by the overall experience. The communication with the operator was rather painful and we always had to ask for details regarding pick up, guides etc. through WhatsApp. They eventually picked us up from our hotel at 10 am although the cruise didn’t start before 12:30 pm so we had to wait on the ship for 2h with noting to do. The ship is not a 5 star cruise ship as advertised not even by Egyptian standards. Maybe 3 stars at best. Finally we had the impression that all the operator does is to take your money and book you on the cheapest cruise where they find a spot for you. We would recommend booking directly with the cruise company and probably save quite some money.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! It’s a complete scam. We booked this trip months in advance and then planned our whole trip around it. Accommodation and travel before and after. A few days before we got an email to say the cruise company were no longer sailing on a Saturday for a 2 night cruise -we could move to a 3 night cruise for $70 more per person or go a day before or after. This was a nightmare as it meant cancelling onward travel and hotels. In the end we decided to go a day later and stick to 2 nights as the boat was staying Luxor of the first day and night anyway and we’d already spent 4 nights there. When we confirmed this we got a reply to say the boat no longer was accepting 2 night cruises and we had no choice but to book the 3 night cruise and pay them an extra 70USD each..
We were in a panic now as this meant a lot of cancelling other parts of our trip. We felt completely backed into a corner and the company were not responding to my questions asking why, what the new itinerary would be, what our options were etc. I tried to contact them via Viator, their online chat via their website, their email and whatsapp. No contact.
We eventually managed to get someone at 9pm the night before the cruise would start and they gave us one word answers. Rude and unhelpful and completely unsympathetic and unapologetic.
We needed to get to Aswan and there were no other options for cruises so we decided we had to upgrade to the 3 night cruise. We wanted to pay on card to give ourselves some protection as by this point we had no trust in these guys at all. The next day they refused to accept card payment, when we insisted they drove us to 2 shut down travel agents and again said cash was our only option. At this point we were really frustrated and exhausted so paid the cash – more fool us.
Imagine our frustration when we got on the boat and met two lots of people on a 2 night cruise! One who had booked this exact same trip. They had also been told the boat didn’t accept 2 nights but when they threatened to cancel outright the company backed down immediately and accommodated them.
Just don’t bother. These guys are out to get your money. No interest in customer service. If the boat doesn’t accept 2 nights then why are they still selling this cruise.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME.

I have large and nice room with panoramic view in our cruuse Le fayan which 8s definitely very nice cruise.
Staff were so nice and helpful.
Our tour operator Mohammed was great.
Special thanks to our tour guide ashraf .
Definitely will do this tour again if I come to Egypt

This is a 2-night cruise and ideal for people who are short of time. The company was not easy to communicate with and did not give us the drop of details at Aswan till the last minute, we were concerned as we had to plan the forward trip. The ship set sail only after 2 in spite of picking us up at 11. We were told someone called Samy would be our guide, but Zacharia came at the last minute.
The cruise ship and food experience were excellent. We made some great friends aboard, and the visits to the two temples were good and planned well.
Will recommend this tour in case you want to go from LUXOR to Aswan.
