He explained to us the process of tea and lots of things about the history of the places we visited. We could also ask him a lot of question! He is very nice and we felt safe while he was driving in the narrow streets.

What a fantastic day. The itinerary is packed. Highlights include the Boh tea plantation and the majestic scenery of the Highlands. Be prepared for a long day.

I highly recommend Jaies Chauffeur Service for this tour. Jai is experienced, helpful, friendly and engaging. It was a long day with a packed itinerary but Jai was very accommodating and also gave suggestions to where we could go to. We had so much fun and good memories. Highlights were the Tea Plantation, Sheep Sanctuary and the Waterfall. We took lots of beautiful photographs. Jai speaks good English. We had a great day with him at Cameron Highlands.

This was an exceptional trip – my tour guide was flexible and did his best to make the tour a customized, wonderful experience. He helped me add on an ATV adventure through a tea farm at the last minute and drove me to Ipoh rail station at the end of the tour instead of back to hotel. Throughout the day there were nice surprises such as small food tastings – I especially liked meeting someone from the Semai village en route to the waterfall (we practiced blowing darts) with a traditional hunting blowpipe. The Cameron Highland area is gorgeous and I am so glad I booked this tour!

What a fantastic trip we had to the Cameron Highlands with Jai. The tour was filled with amazing views, stops, history, local knowledge, and food! With all the snacks, this is as much a food tour as a tea plantation tour where we had the chance to try Malaysian treats we’d normally never come across. It rained most of the day but didn’t dampen our moods as the Cameron Highlands looks especially beautiful in the mist. Jai is very knowledgeable and personable, and willing to tailor the trip based on your preferences. All in all, we couldn’t recommend this more. It’s the ONLY way to see this lovely part of the country.

We had a lovely trip to the Cameron Highlands.
Our guide, Jai, picked us up early in the morning. The car was very comfortable and Jai was very attentive. We stopped for a quick breakfast treat and then headed out into the Highlands.
During the day we learned all about the history, the flora & fauna and, of course, the tea-making process! The day included visits to two different tea plantations, a beautiful flower garden, where we learned all about different plants and fruits, a market and even a waterfall to finish off an action-packed day!
Jai is engaging, personable and knowledgeable and we learned a lot during the trip. Due to the holidays, the roads and attractions were busy. However, Jai navigated this with ease.
Even though we only had one day in the Highlands, this was a very worthwhile trip. For any scone/tea aficionados out there, make sure you try out the Cameron Highlands during your stay in Malaysia. Jai is an excellent choice as your guide!

I highly recommend this tour if you enjoy nature and would like to have an authentic experience touring Cameron highlands. The guide, Jim, is very knowledgeable and experienced about showing the beautiful, unique, and original places in Ipoh. For example, he is even aware of which markets sell products of their own farms or which tea that is sold is really from Cameron Highlands. He is also quite open-minded and very respectful, as a solo female tourist I felt safe. Don’t hesitate to have a conversation with Jim, because he can tell you all about Cameron Highlands, Ipoh, and even Malaysia. His connections with the locals at Cameron Highlands make it very easy to get around – he can even take you to the “Michael Jackson” of the indigenous tribe there to see the poison weapons they use to hunt animals.
Jim is accommodating to your needs and understanding. For instance, I had a problem with the check-out at my hotel; and he patiently waited for me to resolve the issue before starting the tour. Also, he dropped me off at downtown Ipoh for me to see around as I requested and even recommended good places there.
Maybe one thing to be careful about this tour was the roads at the mountains; it can be a bit nauseous to travel there, so you can take one of those seasickness medicine if you have a sensitive stomach. But again, Jim was ready to help me with that as well.
In summary, it is near impossible to travel without a tour in Cameron Highlands, and Jim is the right person to help you. I understand it is a bit expensive on this website, but it is totally worth it.

En regardant le prix de l’excursion j’ai beaucoup réfléchi mais je n’ai pas regretté d’avoir réservé. C’est à mon avis la meilleure manière de découvrir Cameron Highlands. J’étais en solo donc visite personnalisée. Jim mon guide était fabuleux du début à la fin. Très professionnel, il m’a appris beaucoup de choses sur la faune et la flore unique à Cameron Highlands. Entre les dégustations de thé, la visite du jardin fleuri, la ballade dans les champs de thé, la rencontre de Mickaël Jackson des aborigène malais et la pause de la cascade, nous avons bien rigolé et Jim m’a appris l’histoire de Cameron. Jim est sans doute parmi les meilleurs guide, très sympathique il m’a rapporté le soir à la gare mes achats de thé que j’avais oublié dans sa voiture. Très belle journée que je n’oublierai pas.
