Limerick doesn’t have much to offer now except King Johns Castle, St. Marys Cathedral and a couple of museums, once you’ve got through it, it quickly gets boring in the city. Bunratty Castle is there. Highlight that saved our stay in the city. In a village park with a castle you get to know life in rural Ireland. Farm huts, mills, gardens, animals, a typical Irish village and of course the castle bring you closer to the hard life of the Irish rural people. Time to see everything, 4-5 hours. Very suitable for children.

We had this activity scheduled for a later day in our week, and changed it to the first day we arrived, all online. Easy! Very organized event. Map is very informative and simple to use. The Castle is amazing!!! We took our time in the morning going in each and every space available. The price through getyourguide is better than the actual venue, which made me very happy. Don’t miss this historical castle!!!

The fiddlers we met were very nice. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful to us. The staff in the shop and the staff on the grounds were not nice. The lady in the pub in the village not friendly she taught we were going to run away after ordering the food. The soup in the pub is over price for what you get in a small cup. The two Wolfhound were very depressed and also Shetland ponies.
