Julie was an excellent guide, the van was very comfortable and everything ran perfectly throughout the day. Would definitely book again.

The guide ‘Chris’ was very good and very knowledgeable about the history of the Hunter Valley region and the local wineries. The wine maker at the first winery we visited ‘The Hunter Wine Lab’ was brilliantly entertaining and obviously passionate about his wines and he loved talking about his passion – which was great! The experience at the second winery was good (without being great) as was the quality of the wine. The third tasting of wine, which is where we also had a very average lunch, was again okay, The host was reasonably knowledgeable about their products, but he was quite robotic in his delivery and little unenthusiastic….. and that was basically where the wine tasting ended. There was a tasting of spirits that followed as well as a chocolate and cheese tasting, which is fine, but I paid good money to taste wine, and I was disappointed that there wasn’t more wineries. I’ve been on many wine tours and have never tasted so little wine.

The experience was great and enjoyed the wines . Having done a few wine tours it was a little disappointing that the driver did not explain the various stops as the last visit was food tasting only and the penultimate one was a “bottle shop” . The lunch was excellent
