Our concert was cancelled due to rain but the weekend ended up awsome. Our tour guide was amazing and made the experience so much fun. This tour was a fantastic way to experience the Hunter valley. The tour operators planned different winery experiences that exposed us to a variety of great food, wine and spirits.
We were a family group of 8 with a range of ages and drinking/eating preferences. This tour catered to them all.
It was great to have someone else (more of an expert than me) do all the hard work deciding where to go and transporting us to each of the venues. It meant we were really able to enjoy ourselves. The venues selected exposed us to a variety of wine styles highlighting the diversity of the 167 odd vineyards in the region.
We were so well catered to with the food and wine, we all fell asleep on our return to the hotel and needed coffee shots to kick start us for the evening we had planned.
Our family were also particularly please to spend time with the amazing dogs at some of the venues.
Overall it was not just a great experience it was great value. It was so much more than what we had anticipated. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. We have all agreed to do it again soon with different friend groups.
